Excellent Participation for Matetic Vineyards in Guía Desorchados 2025 We are proud to share with you that Matetic Vineyards has once again been featured in the prestigious Guía Descorchados 2025, the most important wine publication in South America. This year, all the evaluated labels from our vineyard obtained 91 points and more, thus reaffirming our commitment to the creation of organic and biodynamic wines that, together with traditional winemaking methods, seek to reflect the most authentic essence of our coastal climate terroir. We want to especially highlight our icon wine Matetic Syrah 2021 from the San Antonio Valley, which received 97 points and was also named the Best Syrah in Chile. Another important score was awarded to our EQ Limited Edition Sauvignon Blanc 2024, receiving 95 points. The solid consistency of these four wines from our EQ line of wines was confirmed with each wine receiving an excellent 94 points: EQ Coastal Sauvignon Blanc 2024, EQ Quartz Chardonnay 2023, EQ Granite Pinot Noir 2023, and EQ Cool Climate Syrah 2020. Additionally, the wines from our Corralillo line were also recognized with great scores. We want to highlight the 93 points for our Corralillo Winemaker’s Blend 2022 and Corralillo Garnacha 2022, with this last wine also being named the “Revelation Wine” of the guide. To these scores, we add the impressive 92 points for other Corralillo wines including Sauvignon Blanc 2024, Pinot Noir 2023, and Syrah 2022, and 91 points for Corralillo Chardonnay 2023. We want to add a special congratulations to Julio Bastías, Head Winemaker, and to his entire team, for their unwavering delivery and commitment to the creation of unique wines with a true sense of origin.

From Viña Matetic, we would like to thank Michael Franz, Editor of Wine Review Online, for his outstanding review of our “Corralillo Syrah 2021”. We are proud to see this recognition after a journey of over 25 years since we decided to plant the Syrah variety in a cool-climate coastal valley in Chile. We were pioneers in this style of Syrah in our country, driven by the pursuit of the ideal terroir, alongside our organic and biodynamic agricultural practices.
