They include a library of generic models, such as the REPCA (Renewable Energy Plant Controller Aggregated) model, which meets most Power Plant Controller (PPC) requirements. ✔ Generic models are standardized and easy to maintain ✔ If generic models fall short due to unique or advanced control requirements, a User Defined Model (UDM) can be created by coding and compiling the control logic ✔ UDMs in PSS/E require version-specific compatibility and maintenance over time ➤ 𝗣𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗗 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀 PSCAD is often used for Electromagnetic Transient (EMT) studies and provides a high-fidelity representation of equipment. Si bien esta semana los amantes de la energía nuclear recibimos una mala noticia en cuanto a la continuidad comercial del proyecto CAREM de Argentina, esto no significa que Argentina deje de ser la potencia nuclear (para fines pacíficos) de América Latina. El ingeniero argentino Santiago Badran ha desarrollado el reactor N1, un microrreactor nuclear compacto de 17 MW capaz de abastecer a una ciudad de 50,000 habitantes durante 20 años sin recarga de combustible. Este diseño innovador incluye un sistema de refrigeración por aire en circuito cerrado, lo que permite su instalación en cualquier ubicación, incluso sin acceso a fuentes de agua, y su disposición subterránea aumenta la seguridad contra desastres y ataques. El reactor, validado por el Instituto Balseiro, utiliza tecnología PWR probada, y su producción en masa en gigafábricas promete reducir costos y tiempos de fabricación. https://lnkd.in/e6u3dF22

HVAD SKER DER, NÅR ELEKTRONIK ERSTATTER MEKANIK❓⚡ Al vores energi skal i fremtiden komme fra grønne energikilder som solceller og vindmøller. Men det giver udfordringer. For vi står samtidig over for et kæmpe teknologispring, når vi skifter kraftværkernes mekaniske og analoge teknologi ud med et fuldt digitalt system styret af effekt-elektronik. Det kan nemlig gå ud over stabiliteten i elnettet. Kraftværkerne havde en roterende masse, som via inerti skabte den nødvendige stabilitet i elnettet. Hvis der kom brud eller kortslutninger, var de resterende kraftværker i stand til - på under et sekund - automatisk at opretholde den stabilitet, der manglede i nettet. Den elektronik, som sidder i solceller og vindmøller, leverer ikke automatisk den samme stabilitet som kraftværkerne. Det betyder, at vi har en stor opgave foran os med at skabe et stabilt, grønt elnet, hvor mange forskellige komponenter fungerer sammen, så der altid er strøm i din og min stikkontakt. Med lidt god vilje kan det sammenlignes med springet i teknologi fra dengang, vi brugte analoge magnetiske spole- og kassettebånd, til nutidens streaming fra musiktjenester i skyen. 👁️👁️ Bliv klogere her: https://lnkd.in/dR6ppQuA

Teste de proteção de reator de núcleo de ar no RTDS A atualização mais recente do submódulo 2.11 dos Procedimentos de Rede do ONS, Requisitos Mínimos para os Sistemas de Proteção, de Registro de Perturbações e de Teleproteção, impôs a obrigatoriedade de que os agentes do setor elétrico implementem funções de proteção capazes de detectar faltas entre espiras em reatores de núcleo de ar operando em níveis de tensão superiores a 230 kV. Apesar da importância dessa medida, ainda não há uma solução consolidada para a detecção dessas falhas, principalmente devido à dificuldade de identificação, já que geram baixos níveis de corrente e provocam variações sutis nos sinais de tensão. Uma das formas de se avaliar a proteção destes equipamentos é através de simulação Hardware-in-the-Loop com RTDS. Por meio de uma modelagem detalhada que representa a dinâmica do reator frente a curto-circuito em pequenas porcentagens de espiras é possível testar funções de proteção e seus ajustes para garantir a correta atuação frente a eventos internos e externos.
