Scale datastore capacity independently from compute capacity
Google Filestore and Google Cloud NetApp Volumes are VMware certified to use as an NFS datastore with VMware Engine. You can use external NFS storage to augment built-in vSAN storage and scale storage independently from compute for your storage intensive VMs. Leverage vSAN for low latency VM storage requirements and use Filestore / Google Cloud VMware Engine to scale storage from TBs to PBs for the capacity hungry VMs.
