Recently Brendan Jakubenko & Pagan Harrison-Brown had the privilege of visiting Simovation with Ann Stevens & Miguel Besas to experience their cutting-edge interactive wall display firsthand. Ronan Sweeney showcased its impressive features, and we were blown away by the potential for real-time collaboration and visualisation. At Holovision, we’re always looking for ways to integrate advanced technology into our workflows, and this was a truly inspiring visit. Thank you, Ronan, for the demo and insights! #Innovation #Technology

✨ Supanova is done, and what an incredible experience it was! ✨ Our very first Supanova Comic Con & Gaming was an absolute blast, and we couldn’t have asked for a better turnout at the debut Level Up Career event on Friday. We were thrilled to see so many young minds excited about the tech and gaming industries. A huge shoutout to our speakers: Ann Stevens and Miguel Besas from Imagine Realities shared valuable insights during their panels, and our own Pagan Harrison-Brown represented us brilliantly on the marketing panel. They all did a fantastic job, providing inspiration and advice to future tech professionals. The turnout at our booth exceeded our expectations! It was amazing to see how many people knew about laser scanning and were curious to learn more about what we do. The metrology scanner was definitely a hit, sparking tons of interest and engagement. We went into Supanova with open minds and left with unforgettable memories, new connections, and lots of tech conversations. A massive thank you to Alannah Grech for inviting us and organising such a great event, and a big thanks to Supanova for the opportunity. And of course, a huge thanks to Pagan for pulling it all together and keeping the booth running smoothly! A special thank you to the Holovision team for providing a helping hand with running the booth: Brendan Jakubenko, Lachlan Rowe, Mitchell Hayes, Julia Ledur, Sam Peereboom, Kieran Hardie (MSc, GCInstCES) & John M. Until next time! 😊

Holovision reposted this
Last month, I reached a great milestone with Holovision - 12 months in my role as General Manager. I am grateful to have led a fantastic #realitycapture team who have helped our clients complete hundreds of projects over the past year, within Australia, Asia, North America and Europe. The amazing thing is, our team uses reality capture to assist in building critical infrastructure projects such as schools, universities, hospitals, mines, power stations and waste water treatment plants. We also capture movie sets, optimise mining equipment design & fabrication, provide wear analysis of parts, assist in recertification of scientific pressure vessels and scan private jets. With a strategic growth plan in place, and a great team to help execute, it will be another exciting 12 months ahead! #surveylife #laserscanning #survey #growth

How’s this for a location! 🎢 At Holovision, we never know where the next job will take us. One day, we're scanning a mine shaft, the next, capturing detailed scans of a billboard at a theme park. With the AutoMap VellusX, we're able to capture high-precision data in even the most unexpected locations – all while maintaining efficiency and accuracy. #AutoMap #LaserScanning #RealityCapture

Our team keeps us on our toes with their innovative solutions! With a recent metrology & photogrammetry project, Lachlan Rowe got creative with the lighting mount setup on the camera. It looks a bit odd, but it definitely worked.

We’re thrilled to announce that Holovision will be making its debut at Supanova, with a booth in the Level Up area alongside Imagine Realities and Girls Day Out in STEM (GDOS)! We’ll be showcasing #3Dscanning and #XR with hands-on demos using Tilt Five and #MetaQuest. Our Creaform GoSCAN will also be in action, actively scanning items and 3D printing what we capture right there on the spot! Each day, we’ll be doing a giveaway—win a scan session or a 3D print of something we’ve scanned. Don’t miss out! Curious about career development? This is the perfect opportunity to learn more about TAFE Queensland’s free micro-credentials, co-developed and co-delivered by us and Mike Annear. Friday sessions not to miss: ▪ Ann Stevens will be speaking on Explore XR and VR Career Pathways, as well as Welcome to the Metaverse with Miguel Besas. ▪ Pagan Harrison-Brown will join as a panelist for Career Pathways into Marketing and Animation.
