Max Maloney: The First Dutch Buyer of the Accsoon Cineview Master 4K Is there anything Max Maloney doesn’t do? As a renowned Director of Photography (DOP) and contributor to numerous popular Dutch films, Maloney is also the founder of Maloney Amsterdam, a rental company dedicated to film and broadcast equipment. Now, he has the distinction of being the first Dutch buyer of the Accsoon Cineview Master 4K—a perfect occasion to catch up with him. Accsoon Cineview Master 4k  At his rental house on the outskirts of Amsterdam, we meet Maloney, whose company employs around 25 promising young professionals in the film industry. The building itself is filled with wooden corridors that house an impressive collection of film and cinema equipment, with the newest addition being the #Accsoon #Cineview #Master #4K. Cutting edge technology for an affordable transmitter/receiver  Ever attentive to industry trends, Maloney was the first professional in the Netherlands to acquire the device. “I spotted it on offer at Vocas Sales & Services B.V. in Hilversum and thought it’d be a valuable addition to our lineup,” Maloney says from his wooden-paneled office. “Price was a big factor: this 4K device caught my eye because it offers cutting-edge technology at an affordable price. I’m really interested to see if it can outperform its pricier competitors that currently lead the market.” Ultra-low latency  For the experienced DOP, it wasn’t just the cost but the specifications that drew him to the Cineview Master 4K. “It has an ultra-low latency of just 35 ms. I’m curious to see if that’s even perceptible to the human eye. Plus, the range of 2.5 km is impressive. I assume that’s line-of-sight, but I trust the signal is strong—likely stronger than that of many established brands.” Reducing replacement costs through short sturdy antenna's   Maloney’s interest in Accsoon started with the Cineview SE. “We had positive experiences with it, which encouraged me to test the Cineview Master 4K. And as a rental service, the sturdy short antenna is a big plus; it reduces replacement costs, which is important for us.” Film-dna  The equipment-filled hall is a striking contrast to where Maloney’s journey began—in the basement of his own home. Since then, he’s expanded his business four times, all while contributing as DOP to popular Dutch films like Costa! and Bon Bini Holland 2. Maloney often collaborates with other Amsterdam-based rental companies, such as Cam-a-Lot, with whom he shares a strong bond formed during his days as a film student. “We share the same DNA.”    Growing in a ecosystem  Reflecting on the future, Maloney has a vision for an industry built on collaboration and innovation. “I hope Accsoon continues to grow in this ecosystem,” he says, emphasizing his belief in “the power of strong partnerships in a thriving ecosystem.”
