The recurring Chinese classic statements across the Chinese designer furniture series, including the royal gold appearance and sandalwood frame, make Ji Chair’s launch an exception. The one-stroke handwriting of the Chinese character “几,” pronounced as Ji, means several or even fewer of the objects in number. It is often used when the tone shifts to question how many there are. We hope the Ji Chair can emphasize being a part of the space without dictating the interior aesthetics. The contour of the backrest resembles a powerful "几". The strokes are bold and assertive; when viewed from the side, the curves and angles make the lines appear more slender and elegant. From a side perspective, the chair's front legs look particularly strong and upright. The primary style of the JI features a black high-gloss finish, symbolizing the rich ink tones found in calligraphy and imbuing the space with a unique Eastern aesthetic quality.
