  • At #WayKen, in addition to CNC machining for threads, we also offer thread tapping using threading machines. To ensure precision, we begin by chamfering the hole to aid the operator in accurately positioning the tap. The appropriate taps are then selected based on customer requirements. Before #tapping the operator will place the centerline of the threaded hole in a horizontal or vertical position to ensure the tap is perpendicular to the plane of the workpiece. Tapping all threads at one time is not permitted, rather we should tap 3 rounds and then turn back. Otherwise, debris will be difficult to remove and affect the tapping accuracy. #machining
