🎄✨ A Christmas Tradition at Winland: Blending Cultures Through Music 🎶   At Winland, we organize a live Christmas concert each year, a tradition that embodies the harmony of cultures and the magic of music.   Together, these exceptional artists created an unforgettable evening of cultural exchange and artistic brilliance. ✨ "A Revitalized Blanc de Chine" Exhibition in France: Bridging Cultures Through Art ✨   On November 12, as part of the 6th Sino-French Cultural Forum, the world's "Blanc de Chine" exhibition opened at Les Franciscaines - Deauville Art Center in Deauville, France (Ville de Deauville). This event brought together artists, dignitaries, and cultural enthusiasts from around the world to celebrate the timeless artistry of "Blanc de Chine".   The exhibition showcases the incredible journey of this material, from its historical roots as the pinnacle of Chinese white porcelain to its vibrant reinvention in contemporary art. Featuring works by 24 winners and resident artists from 13 countries who participated in the "Blanc de Chine" International Ceramic Art Grand Prix, as well as iconic statues from the city of Quanzhou's Dehua County, this event beautifully blends tradition with innovation.   It was Adam Yu, the founder of Winland, who championed the "China White" movement, aiming to foster a global dialogue between Eastern and Western cultures. The exhibition highlights the creative evolution of this fragile yet inspiring medium, spanning centuries of artistry and transcending cultural boundaries.   In 2024—a year marking the 60th anniversary of China-France diplomatic relations and the Paris Olympics—this exhibition signifies the enduring power of cultural exchange and artistic collaboration.   This vibrant cultural venue takes place in a remarkable 19th-century heritage building—the former convent of the Franciscan Sisters, whose name it retains—renovated and reimagined by architect Alain Moatti. In just three and a half years since opening, Les Franciscaines has welcomed 700,000 visitors.   The Artists exposed in this exhibition were: Andrii Kyrychenko, Ceren Cengiz, This event could not have been possible without Philippe Augier, Caroline Clémensat, Bernard LEROY, Annie Madet-Vache, Boisset Clara, Marie-Laure Letellier, Simon Wang, Yilin CHEN and Marine Declerck #ArtExhibition #Porcelain #BlancdeChine #ChinaWhite #CulturalExchange #CeramicArt #ArtAndCulture #LesFranciscaines #Winland #France #China #Deauville #Quanzhou #CulturalExchange #60ansChineFrance

This week, the solo exhibition "Tomorrow's Canvas" (明日画卷) by Hungarian artist Áder Orsolya was unveiled at the Hangzhou Winland Center. Inspired by the Golden Ratio and the dynamics of three-dimensional space, her works transcend the constraints of figurative forms, creating a mysterious yet sincere artistic world. Her bold use of color, along with the interplay of lines and shades, reflects her deep exploration of balance and movement.   Born in 1993, Áder Orsolya studied fashion management, art, design, and media in London and has worked across Europe, the U.S., and China. Her works have been collected by prominent Chinese institutions such as the Sanxingdui Museum and the Ningbo Museum of Art. This exhibition presents nearly 30 pieces from various periods of her career, many of which were created in cities across China.   The exhibition was supported by the Winland Group and the Hungarian Consulate General in Shanghai.   🙏 A special thank you to those who made this possible, including Zsofia Szoko 朱颖, Róbert János Füle, and curators Yang Dan and Zheng Jiani. • Looking Back at "The Scent of Boundless Love" – A Memorable Celebration of Music, Fragrance, and Culture   Guerlain and Winland, just held for hundreds of art lovers “The Scent of Boundless Love”. Organised during China’s National Day Golden Week at the Hangzhou Winland Center. The event marked the 100th anniversary of Puccini’s Turandot and his passing, blending music, fragrance, and art in a way that left a lasting impression.   🎶 A Fusion of Art and Scent 🎶 First an outdoor concert brought together the timeless music of Turandot and Madame Butterfly, with performances by sopranos Rebeka Lokar and Venera Gimadieva, tenor Azer Zada, and the Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra under Yang Yang’s direction. As the music filled the air at Winland Center, so did the fragrance of LIU, the perfume created by Jacques Guerlain in 1929 as a tribute to Turandot.   🖼️ Celebrating a Century of Inspiration 🖼️ An accompanying exhibition, curated by Elisabeth de Feydeau, gave visitors a glimpse into Puccini’s journey, the legacy of Turandot, and how Guerlain found inspiration in opera. With rare artifacts and interactive displays, the exhibit offered for a few days a mix of history and creativity that connected East and West.   As Ann Caroline Prazan, Guerlain's Director of Art and Cultural Heritage, shared, “Guerlain has always embraced artistic collaboration.” This partnership with Winland not only celebrated a shared love of culture but also opened the door for future creative exchanges.   #Opera #HangzhouWinlandCenter #Guerlain #Winland #China #France #Zhejiang #Hangzhou #CulturalExchange

  • We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of the Kengo Kuma Architecture Exhibition “Architecture Of The Five Senses” (五感的建), a multi-sensory experience showcasing the visionary work of world-renowned architect Kengo Kuma (KENGO KUMA & ASSOCIATES). Held at the Hangzhou Winland Center in Hangzhou, this exhibition invites visitors to explore architecture through all five senses—sight, sound, touch, smell, and even taste! 🎨 Exhibition Highlights: This unique showcase presents Kengo Kuma’s architectural philosophy through various forms, including architectural models, music, large-scale installations, multimedia displays, and manuscripts. The goal is to immerse visitors and provoke deeper reflections on the relationship between architecture, nature, and our environment. 🏛 Kengo Kuma's Vision: With a career spanning several decades, Kengo Kuma has been the architect of various projects in over 50 countries, including being the designer of the Japan National Stadium in Tokyo. Winner of the 2016 Global Award for Sustainable Architecture, he advocates for a harmonious integration of buildings with nature. He emphasizes that in today's fast-paced, digitally-driven world, architecture should engage all of our senses rather than focusing solely on form and shape. 🏙 A Dialogue Between Tradition and Modernity: The exhibition also underscores how the Hangzhou Winland Center respects the historical significance of its surroundings. Situated near the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Grand Canal and adjacent to the ancient Xiangji Temple (香积寺), the center exemplifies how modern architecture can coexist with historic landmarks. The design even sacrificed building volume to preserve the skyline view of the temple. 📅 Join Us: Running until December 8, 2024, this exhibition is a must-see for architecture enthusiasts and anyone curious about how our environment can shape and enhance our daily experiences. Look for “Architecture Of The Five Senses” (五感的建筑) on WeChat and book your ticket. #KengoKuma #CulturalExhibition #Architecture #ArchitecturalExhibition #HangzhouWinlandCenter #Winland #China #Zhejiang #Hangzhou #Japan
