Description
Português: O quadro Festa Escolar no Ipiranga foi pintado em 1912, por Augustin Salinas y Teruel. A obra representa uma festividade da época em que foi retratada. O pintor optou por esboçar o céu em um azul bem claro, com algumas nuvens brancas na parte superior à direita do quadro. Milhares de pessoas estão reunidas com trajes finos, predominantemente brancos e chapéus escolares em volta do Museu Paulista, que é representado na parte central.

Na própria construção, há bandeirinhas coloridas enfeitando a parte superior. à esquerda, bandeiras da República do Brasil, de Portugal, da Espanha e de diversos outros países, são representadas também ao lado de um bosque. À direita há uma tenda branca e uma grande quantidade de pessoas com vestes escuras. Algumas senhoras são retratadas na tela com sombrinhas.
