Your Privacy Choices

Certain states privacy laws give consumers the right to limit the sale and sharing of personal information and opt out of the processing of personal information for certain types of targeted advertising.

On the Verizon Communities site, selling/sharing/targeting occurs when we share information with advertising technology companies present on our websites who combine that information with information they collect about your visits to our sites or that they otherwise have about you to provide more personalized advertising to you. This occurs through the use of cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies.

You can let us know that you do not want information about you used for these activities by opting out. We also recognize browser-based Global Privacy Control signals in the same way as when you opt-out here.

My Verizon Members

Please log in to your My Verizon account to notify us of your choice to opt out. Your login will allow us to save and apply your choice to information related to your account. We will apply your opt-out when you visit the Communities site and the Verizon.com sites whenever you are logged in to your My Verizon account.

If you visit our pages using a different browser or device, we will recognize your opt-out once you log in. If you should visit the Verizon Communities site without logging in, please inform us of your choice to opt-out using the "Website Visitor" section of this page.

If you have multiple Verizon accounts, please login separately to each account and complete this process again so that we can recognize your choice for each.

You can change your choice at any time, however, when you engage a Global Privacy Control, that opt-out choice will override any conflicting choice you make using the login process.

Community Members

Please sign in to your Community Member account to notify us of your choice to opt out. Your login will allow us to save your choice, and we will apply it on the Verizon Communities sites whenever you are logged in to your account.

If you visit our site using a different browser or device, we will recognize your opt-out once you log in. Should you visit the site without logging in, please inform us of your choice to opt-out using the "Website Visitor" section of this page.

Website Visitors
