The Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) continues to accelerate the implementation of its global reform agenda by joining forces with one of its latest members, APC Compliance , to deliver Sport Integrity solutions. Formalized in New York during the SIGA FITS Forum, this strategic business partnership will further expand and diversify SIGA SOLUTIONS portfolio of services to Sport Organizations and Governments worldwide, and will significantly contribute to enhance their governance, integrity and capability. Under this new tripartite agreement, APC Compliance will work in close cooperation with SIGA SOLUTIONS, SIGA’s new commercial arm, to deliver a suite of services designed to assist Sport Organizations and Governments to achieve the highest standards of integrity and good governance, anchored by SIGA’s Universal Standards on Sport Integrity. These services will support Organizations in their journey towards obtaining the SIGA Independent Rating and Verification System (SIRVS) Certification. The broad range of services that are now available include, but are not limited to: - Providing strategic advice to Sport Organizations, Governments and Global Business, including Sponsors, Broadcasters and other relevant Commercial Entities, on all matters related to Sport Integrity; - Providing Training, Education and Capacity Building related with the implementation of the SIGA Universal Standards and SIRVS Certification; Developing Legislative and Regulatory Frameworks; Conducting in-depth specialized studies and research on critical Governance and Financial Integrity issues; and - Developing standardized toolkits for financial integrity and good governance in Sport, tailored to Sports Organizations seeking SIRVS Certification. The Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) is proud to announce the release of the fifth edition of the Sport Integrity Journal (SIJ), dedicated to celebrating Female Leadership in Sport, as key component of Good Governance in Sport. This edition is particularly significant as it follows closely on the heels of the 2024 Summit on Female Leadership, and the end of Women's History Month, underscoring SIGA’s commitment to elevating the role of Women in Sport. This SIJ edition features articles exclusively written by high-level female sports leaders, the results of a Survey on the SIGA Women Global Mentorship Programme, and an interview with Athena Constantinou, Managing Director, APC Compliance and Regulatory Services, the latest organisation to join SIGA as a Member. As we reflect on the discussions from the recent Summit on Female Leadership and celebrate Women's Month, this edition of the Sport Integrity Journal stands as a testament to the power and necessity of female voices in shaping the future of sports governance.
