  • Why do you need to make a master resume? And what is it anyway? It’s not just a list of jobs you’ve had. It’s also a collection of your accomplishments. Every key achievement. Things that others might overlook but you’re proud of. Things that differentiate you from other candidates. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿. When you achieve something you’re proud of, log it. This saves you stress later when a layoff hits. No scrambling to recall every detail while applying for jobs. Result? - Less stress - A stronger application - Better chances of landing your next role Agree? •  The biggest thing Alexander tells his 17 mentees. Okay, 2 things: Mr Rehm is the heartbeat of the gaming industry. Helping 100s of people find their next job. Here are the two things he tells his 1:1 mentees. 1) Expectations. "If you are my mentor, I expect you to fix things for me" This is not a mentor's role. Mentors are there to ask you questions, to help guide you where you want to go. They're not there to: "I have known you for 5 minutes, okay let me find you a job." Setting your expectations right is step 1. 2) Know where you want to go. This can change! If you want to break into an industry however having a clear starting point is critical. Picking an industry is not enough, select 1 role and focus on it. 🔔 Follow The Gaming Playbook for more insights from leaders Ep #4 - Alexander Rehm: Career growth in Games

  •  Are you doing too much as a CEO? Most CEOs are juggling everything—marketing, branding, sales, ops. But doing everything yourself? That’s not the key to success. The trick? Focus on the 3-5 things you’re excellent at. Let others handle the rest. Sure, they might not do it as well as you. But guess what? It frees you up to excel where it truly matters. And if they mess up? That’s an opportunity to coach and help them grow. Trust, delegate, and lead. Your business will thank you. Do you struggle with delegation? 🔔 Follow The Gaming Playbook for more insights from leaders Ep #15 - Chris O’Connell: “The CEO Playbook”

  •  What’s the key to nailing your next game dev interview? It’s not about having all the answers. It’s about proving you’re a 𝗻𝗲𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 for the team. - No wasted words. - Every response shows you’ll bring value. Stuck on a tough question? Focus on how you’d approach the problem. It’s not about knowing everything, it’s about showing you’re reliable when faced with the unknown. The goal? Leave them with one feeling: "I trust this person won’t let us down." How do you handle tricky interview questions? Share your strategy! 🔔 Follow The Gaming Playbook for more insights from leaders Ep #12 - Tarak Ford: "The Growing Teams Playbook"
