You will ensure smooth vessel operation, maintenance, and repair, collaborating with senior technical personnel. Key Responsibilities: • 🛠️ Manage technical operations, maintenance, and repairs of Ro-Pax vessels. • 🔍 Conduct vessel inspections and audits. • 🗓️ Develop maintenance schedules and repair plans. • 🔧 Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively. • 💼 Manage budgets for maintenance and repair projects. • ⚖️ Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and safety standards. • 📝 Maintain records using fleet management software. Qualifications: • 📜 Certificate of competency as 2nd Engineer or higher (C/E preferred). • ⚙️ Strong background in marine engineering systems and standards. • 🧠 Analytical and problem-solving skills. • 📚 In-depth understanding of maritime regulations and safety standards. • 🌊 Experience in Senior Engineering (2/E or higher) seagoing rank or shoreside technical role. • 💻 Proficient with fleet management software. • 🗣️ Excellent communication skills. • 💪 Confident, experienced, and self-motivated.
