We at Novartis promote mental health and wellbeing at work and strengthen skills and capabilities of our employees to thrive together to reimagine medicine. Our focus throughout this Autumn is driving awareness around Mental Health and Wellbeing aiming to encourage our people to take one small step to improve their mental health.
As part of this agenda, Wellbeing ERG Czech Republic delivered tailored health related initiatives and activities to equip and support our colleagues during this fall such as:
-Balanced Life Workshops aimed to nurture our employees' wellbeing by providing practical guidance to enhance various areas, including mental health, physical health, social health, and stress management.
- Wellbeing Café, centered around the theme "Re-Purpose Yourself," is a fresh event concept that provided our employees with a safe space to participate in stimulating discussions and gained insights from speakers who shared their personal stories.
-BreathWork, a brand new interactive science-based session was delivered by our internal colleague who has a certification in Oxygen Advantage. Our employees had the opportunity to discover how to optimize breathing to boost physical and mental performance, reduce stress, and enhance overall wellbeing.
- Sleep Better, Work Smarter Workshop, was offered to our colleagues with the aim of enhancing self-reflection on sleep quality and improving their daily productivity.
- Wellbeing Connect, focused on prioritizing wellbeing and self-care at work through inspiring stories, engaging exercises, and the creation of personalized wellbeing routines.
- Recurring activities such as yoga, meditation, running, stretching, dance led by our colleagues to support our employees physical pillar of wellbeing.
- Health Consultancy Day in collaboration with Health, Safety& Environment function offered variety of consultations such as pedology, optometry, neuroplasticity, Heimlich Maneuver and other activities to assess their health conditions.
A big thank you to Ulpukka Sillanmäki and Barbara Pikl, who consistently strive to explore innovative approaches to bring wellbeing topics closer to our employees based on their valuable feedback. We also extend our thanks to the dedicated volunteers of the Wellbeing ERG who actively support our colleagues in improving their wellbeing.
