𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗠𝗛𝗬𝗟𝗘𝗦 - What a great event and crucial milestone! On the 11th and 12th of February 2025 we successfully held our 2nd General Assembly at CIRCE – CENTRO TECHNOLOGICO in Zaragoza, Spain. The assembly brought together all project partners to discuss and review the progress of our project on hybrid energy storage systems (HESS). Key topics included LCA and techno-economics of HESS, design and validation of novel HESS technologies, system design and integration, and pilot validation and demonstration. The project has now been running for a full year and will continue for another three years. This event was a significant milestone for the SMHYLES project, providing an opportunity to ensure alignment and collaboration among all participants. We are proud of the progress made and look forward to continuing our efforts towards achieving our project goal to develop a truly sustainable HESS.
