Another exciting opening to our portfolio! The W Prague has opened its doors last week. Located in the heart of the capital at the former and well-renowned #GrandHotelEvropa, this distinctive art nouveau-style property pushed boundaries when it opened in 1905 and will do so again with the W brand’s progressive design and innovative spirit, combining its historic structure and lasting elements with a new modern oval-shaped extension to create an intriguing blend of old-world glamour and bold new concepts. Our special recognition goes to our Director Varol Güzelülke, our Sr. Manager Laura Palavecino for overseeing the IT aspects from initiation to opening, ensuring communication, execution, tracking, and collaboration. This fall, W Prague will open its doors in the restored building of the former legendary Hotel Evropa on Wenceslas Square, originally designed in 1905 by architects Alois Dryák and Bohumil Hypšman. After years of neglect, this Art Nouveau gem will once again find its place in Prague’s social scene. In collaboration with internationally renowned architects Benoy, award-winning interior design studio AvroKO from London, and with the support of local branch of Chapman Taylor, W Prague will introduce a modern concept that seamlessly blends the building’s rich past as a cultural hub with its future. The hotel will feature 161 stylish rooms and suites, including the WOW Bohemia Duplex, the signature W Lounge complemented by the Fantastic Garden, and the Above Rooftop bar offering stunning views of the city skyline. All of this, alongside unique art pieces and a modern extension inspired by the history and culture of Prague.
