We're proud to have been part of the second NATO-led Modelling and Simulation as a Service (#MSaaS) experiment held in Bulgaria on 17th September 2024. Led by the NATO Modelling and Simulation Group (NMSG) MSG-195, co-chaired by Aditerna's Robert Siegfried, and supported by our partners, this event marked another critical step in advancing the MSaaS ecosystem.
ST Engineering Antycip joined forces with the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense to set up a testbed, showcasing collaborative capabilities in the fields of defense and simulation technology. This initiative was supported by key industry players, including Systematic with its Bulgarian partner TechnoLogica (SITAWARE HQ), SimFront Simulation Systems Corporation (VCCI gateway), and MAK Technologies/ ST Engineering Antycip (VR Forces). Together, we worked alongside the Bulgarian Defense Academy, the Crisis Management and Disaster Response Centre of Excellence (NATO CMDR COE), and the Bulgarian Training Center "Charalitza" to conduct a successful experiment.
The Bulgarian Defense Academy hosted the experiment, while the technical platform was managed at the NATO CMDR CoE just a few kilometers away. The outcome of the experiment exceeded expectations, receiving positive feedback from Major General Stayko Prokopiev, Commander of the Academy, who expressed interest in supporting another experiment in 2025, pending NMSG’s decision.
👏 A huge thank you to all participants and stakeholders for making this experiment a success. With each step, we continue to drive forward innovation in simulation and training technologies for a stronger and more connected defense.
