Originally from Bucharest, Romania, she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest and is now pursuing her Master’s Degree at the same institution. Mihaela brings with her a wealth of experience from international companies like Electronic Arts and Deutsche Bank, showcasing her adaptability and expertise. Known for her fast learning, strong analytical and logical skills, Mihaela thrives in fast-paced environments and always delivers with high attention to detail. She has quickly mastered the unique challenges and nuances of the defense and simulation-based training sector, which lies at the heart of Aditerna’s focus. We're proud to have been part of the second NATO-led Modelling and Simulation as a Service (#MSaaS) experiment held in Bulgaria on 17th September 2024. Led by the NATO Modelling and Simulation Group (NMSG) MSG-195, co-chaired by Aditerna's Robert Siegfried, and supported by our partners, this event marked another critical step in advancing the MSaaS ecosystem. ST Engineering Antycip joined forces with the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense to set up a testbed, showcasing collaborative capabilities in the fields of defense and simulation technology. This initiative was supported by key industry players, including Systematic with its Bulgarian partner TechnoLogica (SITAWARE HQ), SimFront Simulation Systems Corporation (VCCI gateway), and MAK Technologies/ ST Engineering Antycip (VR Forces). Together, we worked alongside the Bulgarian Defense Academy, the Crisis Management and Disaster Response Centre of Excellence (NATO CMDR COE), and the Bulgarian Training Center "Charalitza" to conduct a successful experiment. The Bulgarian Defense Academy hosted the experiment, while the technical platform was managed at the NATO CMDR CoE just a few kilometers away. The outcome of the experiment exceeded expectations, receiving positive feedback from Major General Stayko Prokopiev, Commander of the Academy, who expressed interest in supporting another experiment in 2025, pending NMSG’s decision. 👏 A huge thank you to all participants and stakeholders for making this experiment a success. With each step, we continue to drive forward innovation in simulation and training technologies for a stronger and more connected defense. #StrongerTogether #WeAreNato
🌐 Meet Andreas Kühl – Aditerna's New System Administrator! 🌐 Andreas joined us just a few weeks ago, but he's already making an impact! As our System Administrator, Andreas ensures the seamless setup and smooth operation of our servers, which is vital for our day-to-day operations. With a career spanning back to 1999, Andreas brings a wealth of experience from both industry and research facilities. He’s worked extensively with UNIX systems and managed data centers in 24/7 operations, a testament to his deep expertise and commitment. Alongside his practical experience, Andreas holds several system administration certifications and is an enthusiastic LINUX fan. When he’s not keeping our systems in top shape, Andreas loves to sail and has a keen interest in underwater archaeology of the late Roman Empire. We’re thrilled to have him onboard, and he’s currently hard at work setting up the test environment for one of our key projects. Welcome to the team, Andreas! 🌊⚓️
