🌱 End-of-Year Reflections: Championing Innovation in Agriculture 🌱 Innovation in agriculture often faces an uphill battle, particularly when measured against conventionally subsidized systems. Yet, this challenge hasn’t deterred the rise of digitally informed startups led by young, passionate talent, determined to address the cracks in our current food systems. 2024 has been a landmark year for showcasing how innovation can drive the much-needed transformation of agriculture at large. The new collaboration between FarmTech Society and the team Inhouse Farming to spotlight and award pioneering startups has been a significant milestone for #ControlledEnvironmentAgriculture (CEA) in the context of conventional agriculture practice. The selected startups are proving the value of their solutions and opening doors to inform and discuss with conventional agriculture how resilient, future-focused systems can shape the transformation.
