In cooperation with the Bayerisches Laserzentrum (blz), our user training took place last week. This session was aimed at engineers and manufacturing managers who were interested to familiarize themselves with the technology of plastic welding using laser beams. In this course, working with small groups, we impart theoretical knowledge, give live demonstrations that show you the various possibilities of laser beam technology in and carry out practical exercises together. Thanks to the limited number of participants, we have enough time to deal specifically with your questions or current problems. #Formnext was calling! Many thanks to Bayern Innovativ GmbH for the excellent organization of the joint booth and hosting us with the SFB 814 Research Transfer Projects. We are happy to see where the sector is heading although we are hearing that companies are still struggling with selling/offering the technology as well as the beneficial application on a large scale. But even as the market gets tougher, we see that collaboration is not diminishing. LANE 2024 is already over. We received a lot of new scientific input, had many great discussions and met interesting people. We Keep Lasers Running! 🏃♂️   For the first time LANE conference gets sporty. From Monday to Wednesday morning, you can swing your running leg and take part in the Laser Running Club. Klaus Loeffler and Sebastian-Paul Kopp will be your tour guides and have already selected three different running routes. On Wednesday Dominic Bartels will also offer an “Easy Workout & Stretching Session”.   Gwenn Pallier und Dr. Markus Kogel-Hollacher are you ready to run? Who else will join?
