  • 👀 Check out an insightful article authored by our very own Dr. Steffen Stadtmüller on the digitalization of manufacturing processes through the use of digital twins. Steffen's article highlights the immense potential digital twins hold for our industry. https://lnkd.in/eDX_pFTg Key takeaways from Steffen's article: 💡 Enhanced data strategy: Digital twins enable a more intelligent data strategy by providing comprehensive insights into the manufacturing process. This leads to better predictive maintenance, reduced downtime, and improved overall performance. 💡 Real-time monitoring: With digital twins, manufacturers can monitor their processes in real-time, allowing for immediate adjustments and proactive problem-solving. This level of visibility is crucial for maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. 💡 Simulation and optimization: By simulating different scenarios, digital twins help manufacturers optimize their processes and make informed decisions. This not only saves time and resources but also drives innovation and continuous improvement. 💡 Collaboration and integration: Digital twins facilitate better collaboration across different departments and integrate seamlessly with existing systems. This holistic approach ensures that all stakeholders are aligned and working towards common goals.

  • ⌛ As 2024 draws to a close, we at Bosch Connected Industry reflect on a year filled with both challenges and triumphs. From the excitement of Bosch Connected World in February, to the re-opening of the model factory in the CU.BE by Bosch Rexroth 🏭 with many #Nexeed solutions integrated, we've continuously pushed the boundaries of industrial innovation. 🚀 We're particularly proud of the fascinating digital twin demonstrator developed with our partner :em engineering methods AG, the device partnerships with Festo, Balluff EMEA, and wenglor sensoric group, and the insightful contributions our experts made at various conferences. Connecting with customers on-site at SPS – Smart Production Solutions with Bosch Rexroth in November was another highlight, reinforcing the value of collaboration. 🙌 And of course, amidst the busy schedule, we cherished the moments spent together as a team. 🎉 We extend our sincere gratitude to our incredible team, valued customers, and trusted partners. We wish you all a happy and prosperous New Year in 2025! 🎆

🌐#Digitalization challenges are universal – a fact that Moritz Schiek knows well. With an architecture degree in the pocket 🎓, Moritz started into working life with positions focusing on BIM (Building Information Modeling) management. 🏬 And saw how digital transformation reshapes practices. "3D models opened my eyes to the possibilities and the beauty of digitalization,” he says. This passion led him to Bosch, where he first worked in construction digitalization. Today, he uses this experience in our team: as a Solution Consultant, he helps our customers with their product-centric digital transformation using Bosch Semantic Stack. „The challenges of digitalization apply to construction as well as to digital transformation throughout the entire product lifecycle, which is the focus of Bosch Semantic Stack,” he says. “What I love about digitalization is that it feels like a closed book at first. But with the tools included in Bosch Semantic Stack, like digital twins and knowledge graphs, we can open it page by page, making everything logical and structured. The learning effect is incredible.” Outside of work, Moritz also loves to learn and try out new things – be it in his a cappella choir or while producing music 🎵 and event videos. 📹  “My motto is ‘learn something new every day’. And that’s exactly what I do at Bosch Connected Industry.”

  • ✨ As the year winds down and the festive season approaches, we gathered for a cozy pre-Christmas get-together, complete with warm crêpes, biscuits, and mulled wine. Even a chilly breeze couldn't dampen our spirits, thanks to the warm glow of fire pits 🔥 and the twinkling magic of fairy lights. A big thank you to the organizers who created such a welcoming atmosphere! ❤️

Besonders in turbulenten Zeiten. In diesem Sinne wünschen wir allen einen frohen Nikolaustag!

🤨 🤩 From milkruns with fixed timetables to automatic, dynamic routing – and from skeptical to enthusiastic associates: that’s what the Bosch plant in Kusterdingen achieved thanks to systematic change management. 👏 By actively involving all stakeholders, we turned things around for the better: associates who were initially unconvinced are now actively contributing ideas for digitalization and volunteering for new projects. 🎉
