Berlin Product Designers Meetup

Back in Berlin = Back to Sketchnoting! My 2025 meet up journey was kicked off by Adam B Cochrane’s talk at Berlin Product Designers Meetup, “How to Win [Design] Friends and Influence [Non-Design] People.” Like many attendees, I arrived curious about how such a topic would unfold, and to our surprise, Adam opened with a big “DON’T.” Adam emphasized empathy, trust, and action as pillars of great design and collaboration. His advice to see others as contributors to your growth as a designer and to invest genuinely in relationships (without obsessing over ROI!) truly resonated. With anecdotes from personal life and references from Ted Lasso, he made complex topics relatable, leaving the audience inspired! I had a great time catching up with friends after almost four months and meeting some amazing new people at the event! And as each year, we end it with a community get-together with some Glühwein and games, this time at peax's wonderful new offices in Berlin Mitte. This happens December 5th.
