🌟 Exciting news on C&A’s store concept🌟 With the ongoing modernization of the C&A stores, we keep improving and piloting innovative solutions to combine inspiration, functionality and state-of-the-art technology in our stores. We are staying true to the focus on inspiration in our stores… …with a modern and welcoming atmosphere, lounge areas, a generously designed sales area, and a clear product layout. The new and modernized stores we opened in November - in Sarni Stok Mall in Bielsko-Biała (Poland) - are perfect examples. At the same time, we are testing new approaches to further improve the customer experience: For instance, in the new flagship store in the heart of Munich in Neuhauser Straße (Germany). Customers can now find here a new setup for self-service checkout and service desks. We significantly increased the number of self-service checkouts aiming to make the payment process as efficient as possible. The checkouts are also equipped with RFID technology so that payment is smooth and fast. Further service counters simplify the processes for exchange, Click & Collect and cash payments. Who is your everyday role model? 🚀 We posed that question in the beginning of 2024 as part of C&A’s #InternationalWomensDay campaign. Throughout the year we spread the spark of inspiration through posts, interviews and influencer cooperations to celebrate women’s achievements. And we decided to be one of the sponsors of the #SupportHer Award by Cosmopolitan magazine In Germany… …to help increase visibility for women who bring amazing ideas to life, who put their energy into good causes, and who really make a difference for our society. “The nominees inspire us to grow and to become our best selves. And that’s also the purpose we live up to as a company: We want to inspire our co-workers, partners, and costumers to look, feel and do good. That takes courage, entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to be a force for good– elements that are deeply rooted in C&As DNA and that we support everyday”, explains Betty Kieß, Chief Communications Officer. The mini – it’s not just a skirt ❗ It was a revolution of fashion in the 20th century. Soon after it first hit the runways of haute couture designers in Paris, C&A made the new piece available for the many. Because it wasn’t just a piece of clothing, it was a statement: We need to see the new mini skirt in the context of the 1960ies - technical innovation, new icons in the pop- und music culture, the first landing on the moon, the contraceptive pill, the invention of tights, young people visibly differentiating from their parents' generation. The protest movements gave a rise to a self-confident consumer group of young adults who wanted to express their attitude in their style. In that context the skirt was a reflection of a new attitude which caused high controversaries between generations. When C&A introduced the mini skirt in 1965, the advertisements specifically targeted young women for the first time and inspired them to test the “courage look”. Later C&A collaborated with “Twiggy” - the popular model and icon was known to love miniskirts and minidresses.❣️ In more than 180 years of history, C&As advertisements and designs reflected the zeitgeist and aimed to make new designs available for the entire family with products for every day that are high quality and have a good price. This is still true today! 💡 Did you know? The dress code stipulated that a skirt should not be visible under a coat. Thus, with the introduction of the mini skirt also the length of the coat changed. #LookGood #FeelGood #DoGood

🎗️ It’s all about togetherness: At the exclusive styling workshops in C&A stores all over Europe women affected by breast cancer get to shop in an intimate atmosphere while professional stylists and makeup artists, who have worked with breast cancer patients before, help everyone look and feel good. With all the events we aim to specifically honor women living with or after breast cancer. Therefore, we loved collaborating with organizations and experts to give meaningful insights and spark conversations – for instance with the NGO Bellis and Amazonky, Dutch Breast Cancer Society and special guests like stylist Lien Degol and TV presenter Linda Hakeboom, who produced a documentary about her own journey with breast cancer. In Czech Republic and Slovakia the women even had the opportunity to hit the runway to present C&A’s autumn fashion collection. 🎗️ Fostering a stronger, more informed community. C&A has been committed to help raise awareness for breast cancer and to support and empower those on their journey. We are especially excited that the recognition is the result of a consumer voting as this underlines their trust and appreciation. The BrandIndex measures the #image of 1,600 brands in Germany across 33 categories based on a comprehensive consumer survey and independent market research data.
