One thing I am reminded of on a daily basis at the moment While remote work is efficient in many ways, and easier for many depending on their circumstances. There really can be no comparison with the value of daily in-person work for a founding / early team (in my opinion). I find day-to-day in person contact creates: 1. Trust between you and your team which you will 100% need in the crazy ride that building a company is 2. Cohesion between teams leading to more enjoyment 3. Accelerates context sharing leading to faster / better decisions Whenever I meet founders who choose to found remotely, I can’t help it, but the thought that always crosses my mind is: - Is the added risk of the venture failing worth the flexibility? - And if so, is this really that important to you? This is one of the reasons why in today’s world, we have built The Delta Campus. We believe that a physical space and daily connection drive venture outcomes - not just with your team but with investors, talent, advisors and peers. Would love to hear if other agree / disagree! The urgency to close Europe’s innovation gap and strengthen its technological sovereignty has never been greater. We are committed to ensuring that European Deep Tech founders finally gain sufficient access to the customers and capital they need to establish Europe as a global leader in Deep Tech. This new platform builds on the traction we’ve generated over the past three years. Our ambitious goal is to catalyze €1 billion in venture capital and foster 10,000 partnerships between Europe’s leading high-tech corporations and Deep Tech founders by 2030.
