If you have been following our channel for the past few months, you know we have been waiting to reveal something revolutionary.... Today, at SEMICON Europa, we were finally able to unveil our next generation CA20 to the world! Faster time-to-market, faster time-to-volume, high yield production. All three are possible with the new CA20! By combining high-resolution 3D X-ray capabilities with AI-driven automated defect recognition (ADR) for solder bumps, the CA20 helps to detect systematic challenges faster than ever before. Now available as a fully-automated solution, it seamlessly integrates into the Fab’s material and information flows to deliver actionable real-time metrology data for assuring product quality and maximizing yield. Find out more on our website: https://lnkd.in/gXfsEN8u Or, if you are in Munich, visit us at booth C2.555 to see the CA20 in action!

2024 has been a phenomenal year for Comet Yxlon. Our team attended over 30 events and conferences across the globe, we consolidated our entire software portfolio into a flexible software suite, and of course, we held an unmissable launch for our next-generation CA20 in November at the Semicon Europa. We also solidified our membership of the European Chips Diversity Alliance, brought updates and new features into our product portfolio, and even managed to breathe new life into our hamburg workspace with extensive renovations. As we reflect on what we have achieved, we couldn't have made any of this possible without our incredible team and the support of our customers and partners. But we are only just getting started. From the remarkable resolution of our VistaX software packages, to tackling defect recognition within advanced packaging with our new automated CA20, we will continue to provide bespoke X-ray and CT solutions for your inspection challenges, driving our technology further to help you see better, faster and more. See you in 2025!

This years marks a momentous occasion for our team in Japan, as we celebrate 25 years of Comet Japan! In 1999, with humble beginnings as a team of five operating out of Shinagawa, Comet Japan has since grown to 33 members, moving into a new and expanded office in Yokohama, including space for a cutting-edge application lab! Since the beginning, Comet Japan has worked hard to establish a presence in the advanced industrial X-ray systems market in Japan. In 2007 our ambitious team managed to surpass 1 billion yen in sales for the first time in their history, and they were pioneers in advanced CT technology, being the first market worldwide to sell our advanced FF20 CT system. Now in 2024, they have established themselves as a trusted partner for companies across the automotive, electronics, and increasingly, the semiconductor sector, and grown to include all three divisions of comet under one roof. With the strength of our team and the backing of our customers, the upcoming chapter is set to be just as dynamic and innovative as the previous. We express our gratitude to all our employees, associates, and customers who have accompanied us on this journey. Congratulations to the team on an incredible 25 years! Watch the video below (in Japanese only) to hear a message marking this special occasion!

Last week, we rocked Semicon Japan with our revolutionary next-generation CA20! Alongside our Comet Plasma Control Technologies and Comet X-ray colleagues, we showcased Comet's cutting-edge solutions for the semiconductor industry. And guess what? We even brought our discovery desk to Japan for the first time ever! Visitors got to explore a range of hardware and software solutions with our highly interactive tool and we couldn't be happier with the response. However, the star of the show was our next-generation #CA20. Now available as a fully-automated inspection solution, the CA20 helps to detect systematic challenges in semiconductor production faster than ever before by combining high-resolution 3D X-ray capabilities with AI-driven automated defect recognition (ADR) for solder bumps. As we celebrate 25 years of Comet Technologies Japan, Semicon Japan had an extra special touch this year. We're already counting down the days until the next event! #semiconductors #semiconjapan #xray #cttechnology

As we look back on the past year, one thing is crystal clear: our shared curiosity and drive to explore new ideas have been the secret to our success. And we're not stopping there! To carry that energy forward into the new year, we held a special challenge for our team, to take a simple greeting card and transform it into something new - a paper plane! With ingenuity and a host of exciting designs, we held a competition to see whose plane would fly the farthest. Pushing boundaries and reaching new heights, together. Bring on 2025! #xray #semiconductors #CT #transformation #embraceevolution Comet Dragonfly

The semiconductor industry is constantly evolving, and with the emergence of advanced technologies such as MEMS and AI chips, precision and efficiency in manufacturing have become more challenging than ever before. Traditional inspection methods are no longer adequate, paving the way for innovative solutions that leverage the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to meet the demands of modern design and production. By detecting systematic defects faster, 3D X-ray, combined with powerful AI-based software, promises to bring increased throughput, better yield and a faster time-to-market. Want to find out how? Check out the interview below from SEMI with our 3D X-ray experts, Dr. Daniel Stickler, Director X-Ray technology & Components and Joscha Malin, Director Software Product Management. https://lnkd.in/da6_G2B8
