XR Days 2024: A Vision for the Future What an inspiring event! We had the opportunity to attend the XR Days 2024 at the DHBW Stuttgart Campus Horb, where we gained valuable insights into the world of augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality (MR). Our colleague Oguzhan Okullu had the opportunity to try out his first VR glasses and engage in a simulated conversation with an AI. The scenario involved an employee experiencing frustration and dissatisfaction with their work situation. Following this, he received feedback on how he, as the 'employer', conducted this conversation. It was a unique experience that impressively demonstrated the power and versatility of these technologies. We also enjoyed the engaging presentations, the interactive trade exhibition and the many thought-provoking discussions with industry experts. It is clear that XR technologies have the potential to transform the future of work, education and communication. We would like to thank the Steinbeis Transferzentrum Digital Workspace, the DHBW Stuttgart Campus Horb and the Digital Hub Nordschwarzwald Horb for organising this excellent event. #XRDays #DigitalHub #compacer #DHBW

GlobalConnect 2024: A hub for international trade and globalisation. The eighth GlobalConnect event was held in Stuttgart on 20 November, bringing together all the key players from the fields of foreign trade and internationalisation. In his opening speech, Minister-President Winfried Kretschmann highlighted the value of collaboration and the importance of strengthening value chains in the current global context. The specialist congress then explored key globalisation issues, including geopolitical challenges for the economy. We were pleased to be at the forefront of this discussion. Of particular interest was the emergence of Latin America as a promising market, with investment opportunities in areas such as Industry 4.0, digitalisation of infrastructure, agricultural technology, renewable energies and medical technology. #compacer #GlobalConnect #globalisation

Mandatory e-invoicing is coming in 2025! Are you really ready? E-invoicing will be mandatory in Germany from 1 January 2025, which means that from that date you will be legally obliged to be able to receive and process electronic invoices that comply with the EU standard EN 16931. The problem is that a simple PDF invoice is not an e-invoice. And not every e-invoice is EN 16931 compliant. There are very specific guidelines that need to be met. But what do you need to consider for a legally compliant invoicing process, and what does the actual implementation look like in your company?
