We are thrilled to announce that SSADH (Succinic Semialdehyde Dehydrogenase Deficiency) is now part of a groundbreaking feasibility study at Heidelberg University. This study uses whole genome sequencing on dried blood spots from newborns to detect SSADH early. 🔬 What This Means: Early Detection: Identifies SSADH at birth, allowing for timely intervention. Accurate Diagnosis: Pinpoints genetic mutations causing SSADH. Future Therapies: Paves the way for new therapeutic approaches. We are grateful to Heidelberg University and all the families involved. Stay tuned for updates on this innovative research! Would you also be interested in participating? Niels Schneider Heba Kessler Andreas Schiener
