Cyreen was founded in 2017 and is a German start-up specializing in the development of novel, highly effective retail media technologies for brick-and-mortar retailers and FMCG advertisers. We connect various data streams such as shopper-, media- and purchase data to generate impactful and data-driven insights. Thereby, we shed light on stationary stores with ad-impact, retail and customer behavior analytics to fuel profitability of retailers and ultimately, gain a better customer understanding in a fully GDPR-compliant way. C.A.P. (Connecting Ad-Impressions with Purchase) is our product: a data-based retail medium with integrated advertising impact technology. Intelligent screens seduce shoppers in supermarkets with the right ad at the right time. The technology establishes a new retail media standard as it provides proof that previous USPs of online media can be transferred in a simple, effective and efficient way for the offline advertising market. Based on our data-driven approach, offline campaigns become precisely measurable. The measurement methodology developed for C.A.P. and its data and consumer protection concept were also considered as groundbreaking by various industry experts - and has received both funding and an award from the EU Commission in 2021.

Welcome Getränkehaus Plöchl GmbH & Co. KG 🧃 🍻GVP Getränkemarkt built a brand-new beverage store, located in Weiden, Germany. In this inspiring store, we received the opportunity to install our data-driven C.A.P. technology with cross-touchpoint customer tracking and several smart screens: - 2 C.A.P. Screens with directional speakers - 8 indoor wall screens - one large outdoor videowall. GVP Getränkemarkt is part of Getränkehaus Plöchl, a family-run beverage store chain with a history that goes back to the 1930s. It is an honour to collaborate with a business that combines decades of tradition with cutting-edge innovative technologies. The owner, Ludwig Maximilian Plöchl, was actively participating in the store installation process, adding a personal touch to this milestone. 👨🏼👩🏼👧🏼👦🏼 This installation marks the beginning of our rollout pilot project consisting of 400 screens in up to 200 beverage stores. 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱: 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀🔑 According to an article written by Max Willens and Sarah Marzano from EMARKETER, Retail media networks (RMNs) are capturing larger shares of CPG brands' marketing budgets. However, they face retailers’ increasing demands for 𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲, 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 from their advertising spend. 📈 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, which identifies the additional sales or shoppers’ engagement generated by a campaign, is emerging as a crucial performance indicator. A January 2024 survey by the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) reports that 𝟳𝟭% of advertisers consider incrementality the most critical key performance indicator (KPI) in RMN investments. Additionally, return on investment (ROI) and sales uplifts are also valued as significant metrics. 🔍 Measurability of incrementality is the core of Cyreen´s approach for monitoring campaign effectiveness: By comparing sales between two customer groups in the same store—those exposed to advertising and those not, we are able to calculate the 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱 (iROAS), providing our advertising customers with a transparent view of which factors are driving their campaign performances. 💡 As the retail media landscape continues to evolve, Cyreen aims to stay ahead of the curve.
