📣🛡️ Cybersecurity News: The Cyber Resilience Act is now released and sets new cybersecurity requirements for digital products in the EU. The Cybersecurity Resilience Act is a legislation framework that aims to enhance the cybersecurity of hardware and software products with digital elements. It requires manufacturers, importers and distributors to ensure comprehensive cyber resilience throughout a product’s lifecycle. How is the implementation process planned? 🗓️ ✅ June 11, 2026: Rules on notification of conformity assessment bodies are applicable. ✅ September 11, 2026: Manufacturers are required to notify national authorities and ENISA on actively exploited vulnerabilities and other incidents applicable to their products. ✅ December 11, 2027: Full applicability of the CRA, meaning that products with digital elements need to comply to be sold in the EU markets. Why is CRA key for businesses? 🔐 The publication of CRA in the Official Journal is just the beginning. Now that the timeline for implementation is in motion, businesses across the European Union need to start preparing to comply with the regulations.
