Live from the #FrankfurtStockExchange: Today, we celebrate the results of this year’s Trading Charity with a #BellRinging. Let’s find out, how many donations were collected by Deutsche Börse and the specialists on the #TradingFloor through the trading of #shares, bonds, funds, #ETFs and ETPs.

Get ready to trade at our 9th #TradingCharity – today every trade counts! Since 2015, Deutsche Börse and the nine specialists on the #FrankfurtStockExchange open the #TradingFloor on 6 December for a good cause. On that day, all trading and transaction fees that are generated through the trading of #shares, bonds, funds, #ETFs and ETPs via the trading venue Börse Frankfurt will be donated to the following charities: ✨Frankfurter Stiftung für krebskranke Kinder ✨Stiftung Leben mit Krebs ✨Soccer group “Zurück ins Leben” by FC Germania Okriftel The final amount of donations will be announced with a #BellRinging on 11 December. #EKF24 was a blast!   We can look back on three power-packed days with lots of ideas and new connections.   What makes this conference special for us is that we bring together the world of corporate finance to jointly develop #CapitalMarkets. History written – #DAX breaks through the 20,000 mark📈 The German index DAX reached its all-time high today. This morning, it broke through the 20,000 point barrier for the first time since it was founded in 1988. Together with media networks and the nine specialists operating on the trading floor we made this sweet milestone even sweeter🧁

📊 Cash Market trading #statistics out now:   In total, Deutsche Börse’s cash markets generated a turnover of €118.72 billion in November (previous year: 104.46 billion/previous month: €108.00 billion). 🔹€115.02 billion were attributable to Xetra Trading. 🔹Total trading volume on Börse Frankfurt was €3.70 billion.   The #DAX stock with the highest turnover on Xetra in October was SAP SE with €6.06 billion. Lufthansa AG led the MDAX with €571.68 million, while Evotec SE led the SDAX index with €484.32 million. Halftime at #EKF24! Here is what happened: The day started with a keynote by Dr Holger Schmieding, Chief Economist at Berenberg, who discussed the opportunity and risks for Germany and Europe. Another highlight on the agenda: the panel with Andreas Schmidt from Bloomberg, Andreas Muzzu from EY and Michael Winter from Notified. Hosted by Caroline von Linsingen, they discussed how #AI can give competitive advantages in #CapitalMarkets. In the afternoon, the Women@EKF network introduced three business-relevant networks, DVFA e. V., FidAR Frauen in die Aufsichtsräte e.V. and WIR – Women in Investor Relations, and gave women the opportunity to connect and exchange views on current topics as well as challenges. What a first day at #EKF24! Eric Leupold, Head of Cash Market at Deutsche Börse, opened the day with a welcome speech where he looked back at the highlights of the German capital market in 2024. And there were many – even though the primary market and the IPO environment was tough, the #FrankfurtStockExchange has seen many successful IPOs and equity stories. In his following keynote, Dr. Jörg Krämer, Chief Economist at Commerzbank AG, discussed if the eurozone will recover in 2025. Experts from Barclays, Magnolia Consulting GmbH and Allianz afterwards took the stage to discuss how #CapitalMarkets and sustainability go together especially when it comes to managing risks and harnessing opportunities. In between, company presentations and personal 1-on-1 opportunities with over 240 companies were the perfect chance to gain insights and deepen existing relationships with experts from corporate finance. 📚 Financial literacy – The topic has rightly gained momentum   Germany has taken important steps in the past towards a national strategy, building on numerous initiatives to promote economic understanding and financial education. However, there is still a long way to go, bearing in mind the latest survey by the Association of German Banks.   We have long been committed to promoting financial education in society. Our Visitor Centre offers a wide range of activities to inspire and encourage people to take their finances into their own hands.
