⚓ Der Arbeitskreis Hotelimmobilien war in dieser Woche zu Gast in Hamburg ⚓ Neben vielen anderen spannenden Vorträgen gab es eine Vortrags- und Gesprächsrunde zum Hamburger Hotelmarkt, an der ich, neben dem GM vom Reverb Hotel im Bunker Florian Engels, Can Erdem von STR und Michael Otremba von Hamburg Tourismus teilnehmen durfte Vorab gab es spannende Erkenntnisse vom GF der Hamburg Tourismus GmbH, Michael Otremba, der den Hotelmarkt zwar als boomend beschrieb, sich jedoch als (zugezogener) Hanseat so nicht äußern würde. 🚀 Ich durfte in der von Andreas Martin moderierten Runde den Fokus auf das Thema der Luxus Hotels lenken, ein zugegeben eher neues Thema in Hamburg. Nachdem viele Jahre das Vier Jahreszeiten einziges Flagschiff war, kamen in den letzten Jahren u.a. mit dem renovierten Atlantic, dem Fontenay, Tortue, Westin und Fraser schon spannende Produkte in den Markt. Kommende Brands wie das Conrad oder Hyatt Regency und vor allem die individuellen Produkte wie das Weiße Hotel an der Elbchaussee und das Jefferson in der alten Amerikanischen Botschaft beleben das Angebot im (Ultra) Luxury Segment. Da der Anteil an ausländischen Gästen immer noch bei recht niedrigen 25% liegt, war sich die Runde einig, dass die großen internationalen Brands des Segments nun auch nach Hamburg kommen dürfen 🚢

In my opinion, Italy offers incredible beauty of nature and culinary diversity that will continue to amaze every visitor. What I particularly like is that regionality and hospitality are highly valued. Combined with a suitable gastronomy concept, I could pursue my other great passion – cooking and serving good food!   2.     Which hotel is at the top of your travel list and why? 🌴✈️   It's a little dream of mine to watch the Northern Lights one day. At the top of the list is therefore a visit to one of the igloo hotels in Finland, such as the Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort in Lapland. Tourismus 2023: Die Spitzenreiter🏆🌍 Inmitten der aktuellen Diskussionen über die Auswirkungen des Massentourismus steht Österreich im Jahr 2023 besonders im Fokus. Trotz nur rund 31 Millionen Besuchern verzeichnet das Land aufgrund seiner kleinen Bevölkerung eine hohe Dichte an Touristen im Vergleich zu den Einheimischen – 3,4 Touristen pro Einwohner👥 Zum Vergleich: Frankreich, mit den meisten internationalen Touristenankünften (100 Millionen), hat ein Verhältnis von 1,5 Touristen pro Einwohner, während Deutschland nur 0,4 aufweist. Städte wie Dubrovnik und Rhodos sind extrem stark frequentiert, mit bis zu 27 Touristen pro Einwohner. Auch Ziele wie Venedig, Heraklion und Florenz sind stark besucht. Diese Zahlen unterstreichen die Herausforderung für viele Destinationen: ein ausgewogenes Verhältnis zwischen den Bedürfnissen der Einheimischen und den Erwartungen der Reisenden zu finden. Es gilt, die Vorteile des Tourismus zu nutzen, ohne die Lebensqualität der Bewohner zu beeinträchtigen.
