𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽-𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘀: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗘𝗜𝗖 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲!🚀 We are excited to announce that the popular EIC Pathfinder, Transition and Accelerator funding programmes will be continuing next year. The EU Commission has recently adopted the new EIC Work Programme. 🎉 💸 For 2025, the total EIC budget available is around €1.4 billion. A particular highlight of the EIC Accelerator is the launch of the EIC Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform (STEP) Scale Up, a €300 million funding programme. The aim is to provide between EUR 10 million and EUR 30 million to deep-tech companies that raise three to five times larger rounds of capital. Companies in the key strategic sectors of #digital technologies, clean and resource efficient technologies and #biotechnologies are eligible to apply. 📩 Next year, €384 million will be available for the EIC Accelerator Open Call and €250 million for the five new EIC Accelerator Challenges. 🚀 𝗛𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗔 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗨 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱!🚀 We are thrilled to announce that all 6 projects we supported have secured a total of €255 million funding from the prestigious EU Innovation Fund! These projects will help reduce 39 million tons of CO2 and pave the way for a more sustainable future! 🎉 The European Commission has selected 85 innovative net-zero projects to receive €4.8 billion in grants from the Innovation Fund. 9 projects from Germany were awarded, 4 of which were submitted with the support of EurA. #Throwback 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝟯+ 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗮 On September 25th and 26th, the EurA Photonics team had the opportunity of participating in the 𝗪𝟯+ 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗮 with our own stand. We are pleased to report that the two days were both inspiring and productive, with valuable new connections and insights gained.  The fair provided an excellent platform to engage with experts from the fields of optics, photonics, electronics, and mechanics, and to experience the latest trends and innovations in the industry. 🚀 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗔 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿-𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 WomenINvestEU is a promising and powerful new initiative by European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) that aims on increasing investments in female founders and co-founders across the European economy. The network builds on the gender-smart objectives of the InvestEU programme. Coordinated by EurA AG, in partnership with Business Angels Europe and Bpifrance, we are bringing together visionary venture capitalists, government institutions, and key stakeholders like the Directorate-General for Industry & Entrepreneurship. Our objectives include ☑️ to raise awareness about the gender gap in leadership and decision-making roles within the investing ecosystem, ☑️ to strengthen the investment ecosystem for women across Europe, ☑️ to create an open, inclusive, and proactive group of key players, and of course ☑️ to support women investors from early-stage to long-term growth by offering peer-to-peer learning, knowledge sharing, mutual support, and co-investment among gender-focused investors. According to the KfW Entrepreneurship Monitor, gender-specific stereotypes and the lack of visible female role models are significant barriers. As the saying goes, "You cannot be what you cannot see."   That's why the European Prize for Women Innovators is so crucial! This initiative by the EU Commission, the European Innovation Council (EIC), and the European Institute for Innovation & Technology (EIT) shines a spotlight on trailblazing female founders and their groundbreaking innovations.   🏆 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀: 1. EIC Women Innovators: Deep tech founders with prizes of €100,000, €70,000, and €50,000. 2. EIC Rising Innovators: Recognizing young female founders under 35 with grants of €50,000, €30,000, and €20,000. 3.
