Driving systemic change towards sustainable finance We believe that transforming the financial sector is key to driving sustainability at scale. That’s why we partnered with PRODUBANCO - Grupo Promerica in Ecuador through our ecobusiness.fund to embed environmental & social (E&S) best practices into its lending framework, ensuring long-term impact across agribusiness supply chains. Aligned Produbanco’s policies with IFC - International Finance Corporation Performance Standards Developed Green Financial Products to assess environmental impact Directly supported Produbanco’s client Compañía Azucarera Valdez in launching a responsible sugarcane sourcing program The result? Stronger ESG integration and industry-wide impact. Sustainable finance isn’t just an option—it’s the future. Let’s keep driving change together! #SustainableFinance #ESG #GreenLending #ImpactInvesting #Ecuador #SustainableAgriculture This content is intended solely for professional investors.

Sustainability requirements are reshaping global supply chains, affecting producers and suppliers especially in the first mile of supply chains! 🏙️🚛🏭 Sylvia Wisniwski, participated at the opening panel of UNIDO’s “Who Pays for the Implementation of Sustainability-Driven Regulations” event in Vienna on the 30th of January. She stressed the importance of financial instruments linked to sustainability measures that reduce funding costs of suppliers. With our long track record in managing financial instruments in developing and emerging markets, together with UNIDO we are structuring a new global decarbonization fund driving sustainable transformation of global value chains. Thank you to Sylvia’s fellow panelists Heidi Hautala and Makoloo Maurice for a meaningful exchange. #BlendedFinance #publicprivatepartnership #SustainableDevelopment #EmergingMarkets This content is intended solely for professional investors.

🌍 Last week we welcomed Dr. Christof Schenck to our Frankfurt office for an insightful talk on biodiversity loss. One message that stuck out: We're reaching critical limits on biodiversity loss and the damage impacts economies and communities permanently, even though we have the tools to tackle it! Thank you Dr. Schenck and Frankfurt Zoological Society / Zoologische Gesellschaft Frankfurt for the time and valuable insights, and to everyone who joined our discussion!

    Managing Impact Investment

Yesterday evening, I had the privilege of moderating an enlightening event at Finance in Motion, where Dr. Christof Schenck from the Zoologische Gesellschaft Frankfurt von 1858 e.V. delivered a compelling talk on the crucial issue of biodiversity. His message was clear: while global discussions often revolve around the economic crisis, social media, or fake news, biodiversity – one of the most pressing challenges of our time – is not receiving the attention it deserves. Dr. Schenck emphasized that the risks posed by extreme weather events and biodiversity loss are among the top global concerns, as highlighted by the World Economic Forum. More importantly, he pointed out that if biodiversity loss is not addressed, 80% of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will become unachievable. The key takeaway from Dr. Schenck’s presentation was the message from COP 15: "The plan is there." We have the knowledge, the framework, and the capability to create a more just, ecological, and sustainable world. It's all possible, and it's all within our hands. I would like to thank Christof Schenck for sharing his insights, as well as Sylvia Wisniwski for making this evening a reality. It was an inspiring reminder that the preservation of biodiversity is integral to a sustainable future for all. #Biodiversity #Sustainability #SDGs #ClimateAction #COP15 #FinanceInMotion #SustainableDevelopment #EnvironmentalImpact

  • In 2025, we’re reaching a tipping point where adopting clean energy is too compelling to ignore! #UNCleanEnergyDay It makes business sense and helps mitigate the impacts of climate change. Based on our experience, financial institutions and corporates should keep in mind the following tangible outcomes when considering clean energy solutions: 🔍Extreme weather conditions from climate change disrupt supply chains increasing the cost of goods and services. 🔍Biodiversity loss due to rising temperatures affects agriculture, tourism industry, forestry industry, and others. 🔍Vulnerable stakeholders (e.g. #MSMEs)are disproportionately affected because they can’t afford the cost of climate adaptation, increasing economic disparity. 🔍Health of local communities under risk from climate change exacerbated pollution. We’re committed to driving the transition to clean energy through financing renewable energy projects, partnering with key investees, and sharing our expertise in industry events/conferences that push the envelope on renewable energy and energy efficiency.
