This year's Innovation Economy Day #WTI24 was held under the motto “Focusing on the future: Setting the course for an innovative and strong Germany”. flatexDEGIRO was once again a partner of the event in #Berlin with our CTO, Stephan Simmang, participating in the “Transformation Talk”. He exchanged ideas with leading figures from business and politics on the topic of digital transformation in #Germany. All participants in the discussion agreed that the conditions are good for driving forward a digital transformation in many important areas. To consistently pursue this path, uniform (political) regulations are needed – not only within Germany, but for all of Europe. Participating in an event for representatives from business and politics in Berlin on a day full of relevant domestic and foreign policy decisions offers not only numerous topics for discussion but also plenty to talk about. For flatexDEGIRO, #innovation primarily means new products (such as #Crypto trading) and based on our expertise as one of Europe's leading online brokers, we are all-in, when it comes to launching #retirement savings accounts in Germany in 2026. Innovation is also reflected at the constant technical development of our online brokerage. Advancing digitalization does not mean for us limiting our #service offering. Our many employees are happy to help with any questions, providing barrier-free customer service to 3 million clients across Europe. Stable platforms every day and in every case, even on days with highly volatile markets (following major elections or other political events), easy order placement via app and desktop as well as transparent and fair pricing have been our solid basis for almost 20 years to be a reliable partner for savers, investors and traders. We much appreciated the opportunity to again participate as a valuable stakeholder in the discussion of key political decisions.

Am 22. Oktober haben wir unsere Zahlen für die ersten 9 Monate des Geschäftsjahres 2024 mit deutlichen Anstiegen bei Umsatz und Ergebnis vorgelegt. Mit Blick nach vorn haben wir nicht nur ein Rekordergebnis für das Jahr 2024 in Aussicht gestellt, sondern auch neue Produkte angekündigt. Dazu zählt der Handel in #Kryptowährungen, den wir auf flatex in den nächsten Wochen starten werden. Oliver Behrens, der CEO von flatexDEGIRO, hat außerdem Lösungen für kapitalmarktbasierte Anlagen in der privaten Altersvorsorge avisiert: „Als #Bank und #OnlineBroker sind wir prädestiniert, Kunden #Altersvorsorgedepots anzubieten, und wir werden unsere Erfahrung mit ähnlichen Produkten in anderen europäischen Ländern einbringen.“
