I am happy to announce the release of our #opensource Cell Painting dataset based on the EU-OPENSCREEN Bioactives compound set. This dataset utilizes two cell lines Hep G2 & U-2 OS. It will support the development of computational approaches that can unlock the hidden potential of small chemical compounds and help accelerate early drug discovery. 🚀 The data was generated by four imaging sites across #Europe 🇪🇺: Leibniz-Forschungsinstitut für Molekulare Pharmakologie (FMP), Institute of Molecular and Translational Medicine, Faculty of Medicine&Dentistry, Palacky University, Fundacion MEDINA, Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (USC). Forschende um Sigrid Milles am Leibniz-Forschungsinstitut für Molekulare Pharmakologie (FMP) haben mittels Lösungs-NMR-Spektroskopie die 600 unstrukturierten Aminosäuren des Proteins AP180 untersucht und ein neues Interaktionsnetzwerk entdeckt. AP180 ist an der Signalübertragung zwischen Nervenzellen beteiligt, spielt eine wichtige Rolle in der Clathrin-vermittelten Endozytose und scheint an neurodegenerativen Erkrankungen beteiligt zu sein. Mechanism of Phosphorylation in TREK Channels Offers Therapeutic Potential We are thrilled to announce that Prof. Dr. Han Sun and her team at the Leibniz-Forschungsinstitut für Molekulare Pharmakologie (FMP) together with Prof. Dr. Thomas Baukrowitz and Dr. Marcus Schewe (University of Kiel) have uncovered a crucial atomistic mechanism in TREK channels, detailed in "Nature Communications."
