🌟 Garlock Meets Isar Pyrolysis in Munich! 🌟   Our Managing Director, Till Föste, had an exciting visit to Venture Lab FACIT in Munich, where he met with Elias Samuel Hasel and his team from Isar Pyrolysis. The exchange of ideas and the inspiration drawn from this innovative start-up were truly remarkable.   The Isar Pyrolysis team showcased its prototype in which real plastic waste bottles from the Philippines were turned into fuel. It was like magic! Elias and his team once again emphasized how perfectly Garlock seals and products fit into the prototype and how much they appreciate Garlock seals. We are delighted with the success of our Garlock solutions in this valuable environmental project! Isar Pyrolysis is tackling the global plastic waste problem by developing small-scale, mobile, and energy self-sufficient pyrolysis systems. These systems convert plastic waste into valuable fuels like gasoline and diesel. Their innovative approach allows these systems to be deployed anywhere in the world, even in remote locations, without the need for local infrastructure. This not only helps reduce plastic waste but also provides a sustainable fuel source for areas that lack access to traditional energy supplies.   The whole Isar Pyrolysis team pursues its vision and goal with great passion, learning and skill. On Saturday 23rd of November, we marked a significant milestone in our company’s history - our 60th anniversary of Garlock GmbH in Germany! It was a joyous occasion celebrated on Monday with all our colleagues in the cafeteria. The highlight of the event was a special cake, baked as the number 60. But the celebration didn’t stop there. In the spirit of giving back, we made a heartfelt donation to Initiative Schmetterling Neuss e.V., outpatient hospice service for children and young people in Neuss, reinforcing our commitment to making a positive impact in our community.
