A graduate in Sustainable Coastal Zone Management from UNAM, his academic journey led him to focus on fisheries evaluation and management, shaping the foundation of his career. Baruch’s impactful work includes co-founding a coastal dune restoration collective and leading innovative projects that blend research, community pedagogy, and socio-ecosystemic strategies. 🌱 Meet Shaik Imran, a 2025 Forests Restoration Steward Imran is the founder of Prakheti Agrologics, an #agroecology startup transforming sustainable farming in India. Working with 5,000+ farmers in Kerala, he supports the shift to agroecological practices, improving livelihoods and preserving agrobiodiversity. 🌿 In addition to leading large-scale restoration efforts, he is an avid advocate for youth in agriculture, being a part of different organizations, such as YPARD, Youngo and the Youth Food Lab.
