🏆 IG Metall Soccer Cup – The GMH Gruppe Team Spirit Triumphs! 🏆 At the IG Metall Soccer Cup in #Osnabrück, our apprentices showed what GMH Gruppe team spirit is all about. With GMH Allstars 1 and GMH Allstars 2, we took to the field with full #Commitment and #Passion. Every minute of the game showed our collective drive to achieve something big together. GMH Allstars 1 fought hard and secured 8th place, but it was the teamwork and relentless unity of GMH Allstars 2 that led them to victory! In the final against VW, they stood side by side and won – well deserved! 💪 With 14 players and 8 enthusiastic fans cheering on the sidelines, the GMH Gruppe team spirit was everywhere – a #Community that drives each other forward. Yesterday, at the #ClimateCongress hosted by the CDU/CSU-Bundestagsfraktion, our CDO, Anne-Marie Großmann, represented GMH Gruppe in vital discussions on #Germany’s #energy future alongside industry and political leaders. With our commitment to achieving climate neutrality by 2039, GMH Gruppe is already producing steel that is nearly carbon-neutral, like our #GreenPowerPremium steel. Yet, high #energycosts threaten our #competitiveness worldwide. As Anne-Marie Großmann emphasized, keeping Germany sustainable as an #industrial location means taking decisive action: 🌱 A capped #electricity price of maximum 6 cents/kWh to ensure long-term competitiveness.  🔌 Lowered #grid fees for energy-intensive industries, funded by national fuel emissions trading revenue. 💨 Competitive access to #naturalgas and synthetic options as we transition toward green hydrogen.
