Diehl Aviation’s Future Cabin was certainly one of the most spectacular exhibits at Aircraft Interiors Expo 2024. The mock-up offers a glimpse into the future of the passenger cabin, with windows completely rethought and partially replaced by displays. Bionic structures – inspired by nature – with recyclable materials allow weight reduction while meeting the highest design standards. The CANSAS exhibit demonstrated the company’s latest developments in ‘cabin area network system and services’, which serves as the modular, scalable baseline central control panel for nearly all aircraft functions related to the cabin, including cabin lighting, intercommunication devices, galley and lavatory controls, and cabin functions like fire protection and water waste systems. It was a great pleasure 💙 for us to design and manufacture both exhibits.

In December 2023, we were awarded the contract to conceptually design a state-of-the-art Science Centre in Sarawak, Malaysia. Spanning 7,500 sqm, this ambitious project will feature 22 permanent galleries, 407 exhibits, five laboratories, and two maker spaces designed and build by us. The Sarawak Science Centre is set to open to the public in 2026, offering an inspiring space for discovery and learning.

In January 2023, we were commissioned to design and build interactives for Fortress Hohensalzburg. The focus for their technical development was the year-round weather resistance and a particularly high robustness against tough usage due to very high visitor numbers. In the Summer of the same year, the Fortress Games -designed by Erlebnisplan- were officially opened to the public. https://lnkd.in/eAk4g4Bh

Das liebe ich an meinem Beruf! ❤️ Wenn ein beruflicher Termin zum persönlichen Denkanstoß wird… 😊 Heute durften Kinder ein Wasserspielgerät testen, das in unser Volksbad eingebaut wird. Es war so schön zu beobachten: Erst waren alle erst etwas schüchtern, aber beim Spielen legten die kleinen Tester jegliche Scheu ab! 💦Und so konnten kleine Schwächen der Konstruktion entdeckt werden, die nun noch behoben werden können. Vielen Dank an die kleinen und großen Wasserprofis! 🙏🏼 Vielen Dank an die Firma Hüttinger Interactive Exhibitions, die diese besondere Aktion möglich gemacht hat! Und ganz nebenbei habe ich auch einen Einblick in andere Exponate in der Konstruktionshalle der Firma erhalten, die unter anderem Kindermuseen, Freizeitparks, Themenparks weltweit mit ihren Mitmach- und Experimentier-Exponaten beliefert. Selbst einen Strudel machen, Kugelexperimente und Vieles mehr - ganz viel Physik, ganz einfach zum Erleben und Anfassen. 🤩 Das war einfach ganz wunderbar und mein erster Gedanke war: Das muss in die Schulen!! So wird all die Theorie im Unterricht sehr viel greifbarer und verständlicher. Und auch unvergesslicher, da man selbst mittendrin ist. 👍🏼🏫 Nicht nur für die Kinder, sondern auch für mich war das ein ganz besonderer Nachmittag … der auch zum Nachdenken anregt… 💡 Dankeschön an die geduldigen und sehr sympathischen Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter der Hüttinger Interactive Exhibitions!

I am very excited to start the year sharing a really great project we finished up at the end of last year for Palata nauke, The Palace of Science. The first ever interactive science center in Serbia which is located in the capital of Belgrade. We started working on the project in the summer of 2023 with design and subsequently were awarded the fabrication of the project in 2024. The project is implemented into a very famous building in Belgrade which was formerly a bank and is now truly a Palace of Science as the building was originally named. Much thanks to Nemanja Djordjevic for trusting us with such a wonderful project and of course to his great team Jovana Nedeljkovic and Gordana Grabež for their help along the way! Also special thanks to the Hüttinger Interactive Exhibitions team for all the hard work making this happen.
