𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 Hamburg is enhancing public transport with new safety measures. Starting in 2025, Hamburger Verkehrsverbund (hvv) will implement artificial intelligence (AI) and additional security staff to improve passengers' sense of safety. Key initiatives include AI-based video monitoring, a WhatsApp emergency contact, and expanding the security team with 80 new employees to ensure modern, rapid support in critical situations. Reliable and safe public transport is vital for supporting commuters, professionals and businesses. As the green hydrogen initiative of Northern Germany, HY-5 unites the economic development agencies of Bremen, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Niedersachsen, and Schleswig-Holstein. Since our launch in 2020, we've worked intensively to build an extensive and powerful international network of partners, paving the way for sustainable growth, innovation, and investment. The reasons to invest in Northern Germany? There are countless ones, but the foundation is simple: ✅ Five dynamic states with an ambitious vision for a sustainable future ✅ An eco-system along the entire hydrogen value chain with many projects and partners ✅ Excellent starting conditions for new companies and partners from all over the world We are excited to see how ideas and concepts are now evolving into tangible projects. Science City Hamburg Bahrenfeld combines cutting-edge research, education, and development with life in sustainable green neighborhoods. Since its initial presentation by the Senate in January 2019, much progress has been made. From master plans and architectural designs to public dialogues, groundbreaking ceremonies, and the Science City Day, which in June welcomed around 15,000 visitors to explore the new district of science. 🌇 📲 Already familiar? It provides all the latest news, event details, and key milestones: www.sciencecity.hamburg 👩🔬 For those who haven’t heard of Science City yet: It offers researchers, educators, and students an exceptional research infrastructure. Two excellence clusters of the University of Hamburg are already established at the site. Today, Science City is a hub for world-class scientific research: the X-ray lasers at European XFEL and FLASH at DESY, as well as the synchrotron radiation source PETRA III, enable the exploration of the smallest structures, down to the atomic level. These findings can address questions in health, digitalization, AI, and the development of sustainable materials. Our tecHHub Hamburg, located in the Altona Innovation Park, is also part of the Science City.
