  • The #onshore wind activities in Germany are extensive over the next two years. We have many projects in the pipeline and have now reached the 1 #gigawatt milestone in #infrastructure planning. Infrastructure projects are usually also extensive earthworks projects, which are becoming increasingly important in the #development of wind farms in the project budget. Wind farms in hilly or mountainous areas in central and southern Germany are technically more difficult to realize in terms of wind farm development and are therefore more cost-intensive than sites in flat terrain. We plan your projects with precision. Thanks to the use of the most modern surveying and #CAD technology, as well as our more than 20 years of experience in the onshore wind sector. We model your project completely in #3D and use #BIM for detailed information, mass and cost recording, so that you have your project and the cost budget under control in every construction phase up to implementation. Contact us. We will guide you through all the #planning and #construction phases (#EPC-M).

We are in the final stages of processing the Grammersdorf wind farm in Ostholstein. Our team is doing the #static calculations and the implementation #planning for the shallow foundations with buoyancy (HGWL). A total of three wind turbines will be built: 2 Vestas V136-4.2 MW with an 82m hub height and one Vestas V150-6.0 MW with a 105m hub height. The #subsoil is to be strengthened in the form of soil replacement measures and vibrodisplacement compaction for the foundations. New Order Intake: wind farm with 8 wind turbines of the 3.45 MW class in the district of Cuxhaven. #energiewende #windenergy #renewableenergy #construction #engineering

  • In Schleswig-Holstein near Nortorf, the Gnutz-Timmaspe civic wind farm is being built with a total of seven #Vestas V162 and four V150 turbines with hub heights of 105 and 125 m. We are using our certified #foundation design for the V162. For the V150 with a hub height of 105 m, our #engineering department is currently creating a site-specific design. All foundations can be designed as raft foundations with soil improvement or soil replacement. In addition to the Gnutz-Timmaspe civic wind farm, we have received further orders. These include WP Curslack, WP Grammersdorf, WP Drenko, WP Porep, the single site of Frosta in Bremerhaven and numerous other wind farm projects in the area of #infrastructure planning. Winter and spring remain busy. #windenergie #windenergy #energiawiatrowa

  • A brief update from our #construction site in Vielau near Zwickau. Meanwhile, the concrete part of the hybrid tower is rising. A Vestas V150 5.6 MW is being built with a hub height of 166 m. Due to the smooth progress of the work on the #infrastructure and the #foundation of the wind turbine, the tower construction could actually be moved forward. The #grid connection is also ready. The large components can arrive and have been announced for the beginning of 2025. Novelty: The components will be delivered directly via a highway exit that will be built temporarily for this purpose, for which the emergency lane and the planking will be opened for a short time. #energiewende #erneuerbareenergien #renewableenergy #EPC

  • Can #pile foundations be cost-effective for a project or are they simply necessary because the ground conditions are so poor? We claim that both can be the case. There are ground conditions where a ground improvement measure is not effective. Soil replacement, for example, makes no sense because the groundwater conditions in the soft cohesive #subsoil are unsuitable, or the load-bearing soils for gravel columns are simply at excessively deep levels. Yes, there are these soil conditions where pile foundations are simply the only option. The appropriate #foundation method for complex subsoil conditions is open to discussion. There are advantages and disadvantages for each procedure. They must be carefully weighed in each case by all parties involved in the project. The risks that exist in every project, with or without deep foundation engineering, must also be considered. Pile foundations are not infrequently also an opportunity for the project, which has the subsoil conditions that it does. Careful exploration, a well-analyzed subsoil model, reliably determined pile load-bearing capacities and well-coordinated #structural planning for the entire structure can mean cost efficiency. In this way, loads can be transferred more concentratedly into the subsoil and foundation structures can be designed in a bundled manner. Inclined piles provide flexibility and, for example, stability for buildings on slopes. What you need: experienced planners and pile specialists who work with this type of project on a daily basis. We are such a planner, and we will provide you with professional support from the initial site investigation, the #foundation and #structuralengineering to the final construction. With over 4,000 planned and executed pile foundation projects, we are one of the most experienced consulting engineers in this field. Talk to us. We are enthusiastic about difficult subsoil. #spezialtiefbau #piling

  • "Which route will your project take?" Are the existing roads sufficiently developed for the delivery of the tower parts and large components? Do the crest and trough geometries fit? Can the curve radii be designed according to the status request, or does the use of special vehicles make more sense? Does the bridge have sufficient load-bearing capacity or should an alternative route be chosen? What are the authorities' requirements regarding the changed use of the access routes? How can compromises be found and what measures need to be agreed upon to restore the original state after the #construction activities? What would the routes that are available cost and should some sections be designed as mobile roads with a view to the construction process? What is the nature of the #subsoil? Does it make sense to have a test field with a view to optimizing the road profile, or can standard solutions be used? Are there floating solutions in the area of very soft soils? What is the maximum slope that can be negotiated with which driving technique? Which trees must be protected at all costs? What is the best way to locate a #wind turbine in the #topography? How can I balance the earth masses (cut and fill) and thus optimize costs? Can the space requirements for crane and assembly areas be optimized or adapted to the site conditions? What agreements are then required, when and with whom? How do I proceed with rocky #soil? Will it simply be expensive or can I use the material cost-effectively for my project and save on the transport of masses? "We plan the route into your project." Whether mountainous, forested, in a swamp or on flat land. From the site investigation to the static proof of an existing bridge, we are your #EPC-M partner in #infrastructure planning.

Now the #concrete is flowing in masses, literally. The hot autumn of 2024 has arrived at the latest now. In the next few weeks, we still have numerous concreting jobs ahead of us. Usually 2 to 3 concreting jobs per week. Our team is now facing a big challenge, but it is well prepared. Our current #construction sites are located in Saxony, Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia. But it is not only the concreting appointments that fill our weekly schedule. The #inspection appointments for the excavation pits are at the top of the list, and shortly before the concreting, the inspection appointments for the acceptance of the reinforcement construction. Our team checks the concrete recipes in the office. This is now absolutely necessary, especially since the season brings with it high fluctuations in daytime and night-time temperatures. The concreting work, unless planned in two stages, lasts from early morning until the dark evening hours. Finally, the concrete surfaces must be smoothed professionally and the post-treatment measures initiated immediately. Our first #infrastructure projects for wind farms, for which the plant deliveries are expected in 2025, are now also starting in the middle of the hot concrete phase. Despite the stress on the construction site and the inclement weather, our #team is well satisfied and is tackling it.

We are connecting the next #wind farm to the grid. We are currently planning the #grid connection and the #substation for another wind farm in the Altmark district of Salzwedel. The connection will be made to a 110 kV line. HCE is responsible for the #electrical and #structural design. We are currently in the approval planning phase and are in the process of undertaking the #environmental analysis and #soil investigation. The electrical planning is so far advanced that the essential components, such as the transformer, have been ordered. The realisation phase will begin in the autumn of 2025. Our #EPC -M division is booming. We plan and implement #energy projects from the grid connection to the feed-in of the first kilowatt hour and beyond.

Bad weather conditions. But the construction site is well prepared and we are all made of tougher stuff. The #concrete delivery vehicles have been on the road since 5 o'clock in the morning and the concrete pump is operation. We have 10 to 12 hours of intensive work ahead of us. A total of 808 cubic metres of high-quality concrete will be professionally installed for the #construction of the foundations of a Nordex Group N 149 5.X MW at 125 m hub height. There are no breaks planned for the concreting. To avoid unwanted delays due to delivery disruptions or equipment failure, an additional concrete plant and an additional concrete pump are on call as standard. Week after week, we are not only on the road across Germany, accepting reinforcement and building constructions, accompanying concreting or, for example, the erection of wind turbines. This is only possible with a skilled #team and experienced professionals who are passionate about construction. Despite the routine we have acquired over two decades, we approach each task, such as the concreting in Suderwittingen, with concentration and the aim of delivering #quality at the end of the project. Our services in this project include the preliminary examination of the construction project, the #supervision of the construction work for the temporary and permanent infrastructure, and the foundation construction up to and including the formal acceptance. After completion of the construction and #supervision work, we prepare the project documentation together with the customer. #engineeringthefuture
