HMC at the "Chance: Azubi" job fair - networking for the future 🚢🔧 Yesterday we from HMC were represented at the "Chance: Azubi" at the BBS 1 in Leer (Germany). Many committed young people, parents and teachers took the opportunity to exchange ideas with companies from the region - and we were proud to be there! Our team had many interesting conversations and was able to give potential applicants an insight into our work. It was a great opportunity for us to showcase our company and network with other companies and partners in the region. A big thank you to the organizers for the successful event and to the participating companies for the pleasant cooperation. We are already looking forward to the next opportunity to participate! Summer, sun, HMC - Our 2024 summer party was simply fantastic! 🌞🍹 What a day! Last Saturday, we celebrated our summer party in bright sunshine and summer temperatures at our site in Uplengen (Germany). Many of our colleagues accepted the invitation and spent a wonderful day together with their families - even colleagues from the Bremen and Hamburg locations did not shy away from the long journey. The afternoon got off to a relaxed start with coffee, cool drinks and a great atmosphere. The ice cream van from “Diggis Eisexpress” in particular put a smile on the faces of both young and old guests. Then it was time for some sporting action: there was a soccer darts tournament! Everyone had the chance to show off their talent. The stakes were high, as there were tickets for a top “Bundesliga” soccer match to be won. In the end, the son of our workshop manager was delighted to win - the joy was immense! 🎯⚽ We were treated to culinary delights by the team from “Curry on Tour”, who stepped in at short notice and surprised us with a great meal. A big thank you to you for this fantastic effort! 🙏 What made this day so special was not only the program, but above all the great atmosphere. Smiling faces everywhere, great conversations and a friendly atmosphere - that's what team spirit feels like! A big thank you to everyone who took part and made this day so special!

The maritime who‘s who met at SMM 2024 SMM Hamburg was a great chance to reconnect with partners from the Cruise, Commercial, and Yacht sectors. Our work across these three areas gives us a unique perspective on the maritime industry, keeping us connected to the latest trends and innovations. Numerous entrepreneurs accepted the invitation again this year and took the opportunity to exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere with cool drinks and delicious food. 🚀 Experience innovation up close: Our review of Innovationday 2024 at University of Applied Sciences 🌐 Hochschule Emden/Leer. Yesterday, we had the opportunity to take part in Innovation Day 2024 at University of Applied Sciences in Emden (Germany) and be inspired by pioneering technologies. The topics of digital transformation, artificial intelligence and virtual and augmented reality took center stage and offered exciting insights into the future of innovation. We were particularly impressed by the interactive workshops and presentations - from immersion in virtual worlds to the application of AI in real-life scenarios. This event was a real highlight for anyone working at the interface between science and practice. A big thank you to the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for the great organization and the opportunity to be there!
