🚜 What’s info.link doing at the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture? 🇩🇪 I was invited to join a group of partners and fellow contributors at the Bundesministerium für Ernährung und Landwirtschaft (German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture) to discuss their study, “Transparency System for Sustainability in Agriculture and the Food Industry.” 💡 One key learning was (final report will be out soon): Producers are hesitant to spend time sharing data unless there’s a clear benefit—whether it’s easing regulatory burdens or gaining data insights. This resonates deeply with me and our approach at info.link, where we learned to communicate tangible value as early as possible: 💚 Green Claims Made Easy: We simplify EU Green Claims compliance by integrating certification data directly via API (e.g., with Blauer Engel) and partnering with specialised law firms for super-efficient green claims checks. We’re also covering upcoming regulations like the PPWD and DPP. 📦 2D Migration Made Easy: Partnering closely with GS1, we provide print-ready GS1 Digital Link-compliant QR codes paired with accessible short links. 🔍 Insights Made Easy: Our AI-driven analytics unlock valuable insights into how consumers engage with the new digital touchpoints. The Ministry’s concept of a “Datenraum” (data pool) was especially exciting. This would empower producers to securely share validated data on demand using API-first platforms like info.link, removing extra effort while ensuring data stays under their control. This approach creates a win-win for both producers and consumers by enabling transparency without added complexity. #GreenClaims #Sustainability #GS1DigitalLink #2DMigration #InfoLink
