The characteristics of thise release agent facilitate efficient processes, reduced maintenance and clean applications. Jowat® 900.00 is used primarily for PVAc dispersion adhesives as well as for UF, MUF, and PRF adhesives. 🚀 Innovative Power at Jowat: Project Typha adhesive This exciting project focuses on developing a compostable, high-strength organic adhesive that binds macromolecules from the leaf mass of cattails (Typha). 🌿 Why is this project so special? The base material, Typhaboard, consists of the natural material Typha and is currently bound with the inorganic binder magnesite. The goal is to overcome the weaknesses of this mineral-bound material. The focus is on the following points: 🌡️ Reducing thermal conductivity  💪 Increasing strength A special emphasis is placed on the unique properties of the Typha leaf material. Two exciting days are drawing to a close: The 20th edition of the traditional Jowat symposium finally took place again. We were delighted to welcome customers from the wood and furniture industry to our headquarters in Detmold for an exchange of forward-thinking and sustainable expertise from the world of adhesives.   In addition to exciting presentations on sustainable adhesives, current developments in circular solutions and future-proof bonding methods, the program also included a range of different workshops for our customers.
