What an incredible evening at our Women in Tech event at HEUKING with over 100 attendees, filled with insights on the evolving role of women in tech! Our panelists explored the hurdles women face in the tech world, as well as the amazing potential for growth, leadership, and innovation. Also the need to reshape societal norms, and highlighted the importance of supporting women founders financially—because “women don’t need flowers, they need funding!” says Dr. Monika Hauck 😉 💡Some advice shared: “Build a strong network and reach out for support” - Valentine Dreyfuss “Find mentors who resonate with your vision” - Beatrice Aretz “Know your “why” and make an impact” - Lucie Töpfer “The support of your family is key” -Lison Weiler explained how it helped her achieve a successful career in the Tech industry, despite a lack of trust from their teacher, the educational system and the society. From redefining narratives to proving that “Women are the perfect guys for tech” (Verena Grønnerud) and that “tech can drive change” (Noura Zid El Aieb), it was a night of inspiration.
