In addition to #GPU, #quantumcomputers also promise acceleration for #supercomputing. QExa has proven that the new #technology can work together with proven #IT. The first #quantumdemonstrator exchanged data and commands with the #HPC system into which it was integrated. #Energy efficiency is important to us at the LRZ - naturally also in the new year. Efficiency primarily concerns the supercomputers and therefore also building management. But in 2025, we will also be implementing the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) at the LRZ, which should help us to save energy and resources such as paper and waste in even more areas.
