𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗱'𝘀 #𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀! 🥳 Forth Rivers Trust are absolutely delighted to announce that they have won the 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 for their 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘰𝘯 - 𝘗𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘔𝘶𝘤𝘬𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘍𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵. 🌿 This work was focused on 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 to assist Pool of Muckhart village with a local flooding issue - by working closely with the community. 💧Overflow channels, scrapes, and 'leaky dams' were installed on site to create open water and wetland habitat which offers a boost for biodiversity and helps 'slow the flow' of water downstream. 🌱The wetland scrapes are now lush with life and the willow weave is establishing well on both the burn's lower and upper reaches. 🌷 Muckhart Primary School joined in with scattering wildflower seeds at the site too, and the project was driven by local community who identified the measures they wished to see implemented. Volunteers from the village helped with the willow spiling and will care for the implementation measure in the long term with Clackmannanshire Council. It covers the development process, website architecture, and a detailed description of visuals and features. 🤔 𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 "𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙩𝙬𝙞𝙣"? A Digital Twin is a dynamic, virtual replica of a real-world system, reflecting its appearance and behavior in a digital space.
