Exciting News for Flexora GmbH! 🚀 We’re thrilled to share the news that the Dresden-based startup Flexora, a spin-off from Technische Universität Dresden, has secured a seven-figure investment from the TGFS Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen, TUDAG TU Dresden Aktiengesellschaft, and a private investor. This significant funding will help Flexora advance its groundbreaking sensor foil technology. Using organic electronics and an innovative printing process, Flexora integrates their sensors onto flexible foils, enabling large-scale data collection like never before. 🚀 Investmentnews vom TGFS: Flexora GmbH Der #TGFS Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen investiert zusammen mit der TUDAG TU Dresden Aktiengesellschaft und einem weiteren privaten Investor einen siebenstelligen Betrag im Zuge einer Seed-Finanzierung in die Flexora GmbH. Das Dresdner Sensorik-Start-up nutzt organische Elektronik und ein innovatives Druckverfahren, um eine große Anzahl an Sensoren und Auswerteelektronik auf flexible Folien aufzubringen. Flexora reduziert damit den Installations- und Integrationsaufwand für Sensortechnik auf ein Minimum und ermöglicht flächenhafte Datenerfassung. Mit dem Investment sollen nun Fertigungskapazitäten aufgebaut und das Unternehmen weiterentwickelt werden. The exhibition highlights pioneering materials and technologies aimed at advancing prevention, diagnostics, and surgery. OES member Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden is proud to present two exhibits: 1️⃣ "MBrace" Scoliosis Brace This advanced scoliosis brace, developed through the "MBrace" project, utilizes novel materials and is optimized using machine learning algorithms, making therapy more comfortable and effective. Project Partners: Tailored Lightweight Composites from Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden, Faculty of Design from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Dresden, and @Institute for Biomedical Engineering at Technische Universität Dresden 2️⃣ "NGScopes" Actuators for Endoscopy These microrobotic endoscopic instruments are based on intelligent materials, offering precise control, enhanced sensor technology, and seamless integration into cyber-medical systems.
