German OWASP Day 2024 was a blast! #PRISMA was excited to attend German #OWASP Day 2024 in Leipzig, where we had the opportunity to engage with leading experts in the #cybersecurity space 🔐. The event featured in-depth discussions on application security, the latest emerging threats, and practical solutions to improve system resilience 🛡️. Key highlights for us included the OAuth 2.0 vulnerabilities session, which provided invaluable insights into managing authorization risks —something that will be key for our clients 🔑. Additionally, the Security Champions Program workshop offered practical strategies for fostering a strong security culture within teams —a critical, but often underestimated, component of successful cybersecurity practices 💡. What truly set this event apart was the incredible networking opportunities and the open, collaborative atmosphere 🤝. It was inspiring to connect with professionals who share our passion for advancing cybersecurity , exchanging ideas , and discussing innovative approaches to tackle today’s challenges .💭 A big thank you to the organizers OWASP Germany and speakers for such an enriching experience 🙏. Looking forward to continuing the conversation and learning more at future OWASP events. 🎉

It’s been an amazing German OWASP Day 2024 in Leipzig! 🎉 What an fantastic opportunity to come together again as an expert community in Application Security. We dove deep into a wide range of topics, from secure OAuth implementation to advanced defenses against SSRF and cross-site attacks, as well as exploring the future of AI in threat modeling and the security challenges in widely used platforms like SAP and OpenSSL. A huge thank you to our incredible organizers: Lilith P., Marvin Schlegel, Jasmin Mair, Dirk Wetter, Martin Johns and speakers like Niklas Bunzel, Raphael Antonius Frick, Dr. Daniel Fett, Clemens Hübner and Frederik Braun who made this event a sounding success! During our annual in-person OWASP Germany Chapter meeting, we also had meaningful discussions on how we, as OWASP Germany, can address diversity and inclusion within our community—through mentoring and actively promoting inclusion.
