Giving Back This Season: Supporting Open-Source Innovation with the POSS Fund 2024! 💙 As the year wraps up, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the values that matter most—like giving back. That’s why we’re continuing our Open Source Software Fund (POSS) in 2024, contributing over $8,000 to champion vital and community-driven open-source projects. How does your most joyful self look? 😊 How do you feel in your relationships and actions? 🤔 Answering these questions often leads to an important realization: we are all shaped by agreements we’ve made at some point in our lives, often in early childhood. These agreements influence how we see ourselves, how we treat each other, and how others treat us. However, some of these patterns might not serve us well. The good news? They’re not set in stone. We can intentionally replace them, helping ourselves nurture greater happiness and balance in our lives. 🌿✨ Don Miguel Ruiz explains this idea beautifully in his book The Four Agreements, exploring how Toltec wisdom remains relevant today. 📚 Our colleague Joana Diez, who has read and deeply reflected on this book multiple times, recently decided to share its insights. In a workshop, she introduced #PRISMAtes to The Four Agreements, sparking lively discussions about each one of them:  1️⃣ Be impeccable with your word: Speak thoughtfully and responsibly. 🗣️   2️⃣ Don’t take things personally: Others’ actions reflect their beliefs, not yours. ❤️   3️⃣ Don’t make assumptions: Replace guesswork with open, honest questions. 🤔   4️⃣ Always do your best: Strive for balance in all your duties and tasks, focus as well as self-awareness, knowing your "best" looks different every day. 💪 Curious about the PRISMAtes’ take on The Four Agreements? What a night to remember at the #PRISMA Christmas Party! 🎄✨ We kicked off the evening with an inspiring conversation between our Managing Director and Pedro from the Customer Success team, reflecting on the past year—both professionally and personally. 🌟 The laughter began when an English-speaking comedian took the stage, poking fun at German quirks and bringing internationals and locals together through humor. The delicious food was followed by an unforgettable performance by our Newbies, like Raja and Bruna, who hosted a creative award show with hilarious categories. Some of the highlights included: 🏆 The colleague who books the most office massages (available every Wednesday!). 🏆 The "Last Question Standing" award for always having one final query at the end of meetings. 🏆 The early riser—or maybe not!—who wakes up just two minutes before a meeting but shows up ready to conquer the day. 🏆 And, of course, the best Microsoft Teams background competition (it was a tight race!). The fun didn’t stop there! A photo booth with a golden glitter curtain and quirky props brought out everyone's inner model. ✨🎭 Then, our very own company band, #PRISMAtics, took the stage and got everyone dancing 💃🕺 before transitioning to a playlist that kept the energy high until the end of the night. 🎶 It was a fantastic evening filled with laughter, connection, and plenty of memories. Here’s to an amazing year behind us and an even brighter one ahead! 🎉💫

Roasted Almonds During Your Lunch Break? Go for it! ✨ At #PRISMA, we’re proud to offer a flexible work environment that allows our team to thrive—whether they’re in the office or working remotely. But let’s be honest, there’s one small downside to home office life this time of year: missing out on the incredible #Christmas magic in #Leipzig! 🎄🎁 The festive season transforms the city into a winter wonderland, with a giant Ferris wheel offering stunning views of the Christmas lights, a charming Finnish village where you can enjoy traditional food and crafts, and, of course, the irresistible aroma of candied apples and roasted almonds filling the air. 🎡🍡 For those working remotely, we truly wish we could share some of these holiday vibes with you, but we understand—it’s hard not to feel a little envious. 😉 Don’t hold it against us though—think of it as an invitation: the Christmas market (and our office) are definitely worth a visit!
