Notre-Dame de Paris, the soul of the Seine and a symbol of resilience, has risen again. 💒🌟 After a meticulous five-year restoration following the devastating fire of 2019, the beloved masterpiece will reopen its doors in December 2024.  As the world watched, a stunning audiovisual spectacle illuminated the cathedral's iconic façade, blending gold and white. Thirty Panasonic PT-RQ35K 4K projectors brought Notre-Dame de Paris to life, transforming the cathedral into an incandescent masterpiece of light and emotion. DJ Michael Canitrot's monumental tour combined electrifying beats with stunning visuals.🎶 Together with AV Extended and Alabama Media, this incredible event united art, technology, and culture in a celebration of resilience and renewal. 🤝 We are proud to have been part of this creative and technical marvel, uniting tradition and technology to bring heritage to life! We ended 2024 with a fantastic journey of impact and inspiration - thanks to the countless actions and pledges that paved the way for our commitment to a greener world.    Together with our team Panasonic Sustainability Ambassador Malaika Mihambo and the LÖWENROT Gymnasium in St. Leon-Rot, Germany, we inspired the next generation to take bold steps for a greener future.🌍     Through hands-on activities, including an exciting long jump challenge, students and participants discovered how small actions can significantly impact. Veganuary is here and we are feeling inspired! 🌱    Our incredible brand ambassador Hannah Mills is challenging herself - and all of us - to eat more plant-based meals for a healthier planet, not just in January.    Did you know that going vegan for 31 days saves 6.2 litres of water and over 100,000 tonnes of CO2?*   That's why Hannah has been kicking off our Veganuary relay among the European 'TeamPanasonic athletes with a delicious twist: vegan mini calzones from the Panasonic kitchen. What happens when participants from 35 countries and regions come together for a powerful environmental initiative?🤔 The result was 56,022 eco-actions, and 560 planted trees. 🌳🌏 True to our commitment to turn action into impact, we have begun planting 560 trees - one for every hundred actions - thanks to our partnership with Treedom. Every tree planted contributes to a greener planet while supporting the livelihoods of local communities. 🚀 Exciting News from Panasonic! 🌍 We're thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of our hydrogen-fuel-cell-based energy solution in Germany, set to begin operations in spring 2025! This innovative project will be implemented at our office building in Ottobrunn, near Munich, at Panasonic Industry Europe and will generate electricity locally by integrating advanced hydrogen fuel cell technology with photovoltaic panels and storage batteries. This means our offices will run on 100% locally generated and sourced energy, ensuring a reliable power supply even when the sun isn't shining! ☀️🔋 This initiative marks a significant step in our mission to optimise renewable energy use and enhance sustainability in local operations. Our previous projects in Japan and the UK have paved the way, and now we’re ready to showcase our capabilities within an office setting. 🚀 What a great start into CES yesterday! 🌟 Panasonic Group CEO Yuki Kusumi delivered the first keynote of the day, unveiling the ambitious global business growth initiative, “Panasonic Go.” This initiative is all about harnessing the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to transform how we serve our customers across various strategic business sectors. Mr. Kusumi stressed, “With this new initiative, we will provide our global enterprise with AI tools and processes to serve our customers in fundamentally different ways.” Transitioning from our roots in consumer electronics, we’re making strides as a major innovator in B2B software, services, and platforms. This path is set to create new opportunities for innovation and value delivery. Additionally, sustainability was a key focus. Panasonic is committed to green energy solutions using our cutting-edge hydrogen fuel cell technology, along with battery storage and solar panels.
